I'm going to be fusing more stuff tomorrow in hopes of 6%+. I'll keep a bunch of 3% str equips for other people.

start with earrings and cape, that way if you get high %int, you can pass it.

and i guess we can move the run to 8 PST? everybody fine with that time?
and joe, think of it this way, you'll be able to kill the princess before the hackers do, it's one of the only and best things available in maple now :X

Yeah, tried to keep the comparison reasonable.

Holy Charge is neutral here, all the boss summons have weaknesses though.

Dice 4 is %crit bonus, doesn't affect damage but makes me crit more. This is with Homing on, but you can't see it.

Chars have same 24 atk Blessing, and similar ~10k clean ranges currently.


No fix for Divine Shield's "hit massively"... gonna take a pic of one of the Future Pigs taking off 6 GUARDs at once maybe later.


Summons have an obnoxious amount of lag, it takes about 5-10 seconds for them to clear, plus the normal cooldown. So gaviota's a lot worse than it should be (5s cooldown = 10-15s per use). Plus I have to dismount to cast them.

My comparison was under the assumption that we manage to pin her and she doesn't summon, thus leading to chargeless Paladins vs Corsairs being strongest.

In the event that summons were to occur, Paladins using ACB would likely be the best DPS to kill them, but we are in no position to kill 26m summons while dealing with the instructor at the same time, given what we experienced today.

I was wrong; the videos are rendering faster than I thought (though, I cut the first part EXTREMELY short in comparison to what I recorded). I may have both up before I go to sleep. I just got the first part up on Youtube, so here you go :

we did pretty well without you crashing today, but the delay on the skill was huge, it got kinda troublesome when corgi dc'd

but the more, the better, jump on tomorrow, run's gonna be 2 hours earlier, at 8 PST. let's take her down

Joy... just arbitrarily making all the MISS-related gameplay useless for no apparent reason. It's not a bug, though. 8|

I will try to attend tomorrow's run as a Bowmaster (that can contribute 50-60k hurricanes regularly and has a bow with +15% Ignore PDR), but I do not have max HP. I plan to remedy that tomorrow morning. Just a warning to whoever is online tomorrow morning, whose chat will most likely be buried in level up notifications.

And if I'm especially lucky, I might be able to get to a level high enough in jewel crafting and find enough ores to make belts for everyone. (Not shoulderpads though, since PvP appears to be broken.)

By the way - does everyone have skype? It's a LOT easier for calling out crash times that way; you don't have to stop attacking to type (faster PB runs ftw).

@Alilatias: I have 9% dex/9% hp earrings you can have (only if you come on the run )

Night time PST is always a problem for me, especially 8 PM and onwards. No guarantees at all.

I do know a Marksman named Loved, though. She might want to come on the run, and she has 15k range along with her weapon having two 15% ignore PDR potentials (assuming they stack after Chaos and that she still has the crossbow).

I found a Chaos scroll while hunting herbs in Leafre, and it appears as "Untradeable". What's up with that? :f6: Are all choas scrolls unradeable, or did I just find a weird one? :f6:

I tried to get the lvl 100 and lvl 110 Cygnus skills on other characters, and after several methods, I have to say I failed. =( I'll show you how I tried to do it anyway:

1. Get to 120, become any of the Cygnus jobs and accept the 2 quests from Neinheart
2. Go to Ereve, and accept the quest from your job instructor.
3. Go back to Cody (he's not in Ereve, so you have to go back to Vic), and change your job to an other Cygnus.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 till you have all the quests you want.
5. Be any Cygnus and go back to Ereve and defeat the boss in Training Room 3 & 4 (Cygnus because otherwise you can't enter the map).
6. Back to Cody again and change your job to the final job you want to be.
7. Hand in the quest items and you could get the skills, but this isn't sadly the case. =(

I also tried to finish the quest while having the corresponding Cygnus job, and then change jobs. The skill just disappears like all your other skills, and when you change back to the Cygnus the skill is gone. And you can't retry the quest.

I think having the first 2 numbers of the skill-id different from your job is the problem. Ah, it was fun trying. Imagine a Paladin with Ifrit, Meteor Shower and Speed Infusion. =P
