Not really. If she didn't exist, the game would be fine the way it is now. And kog outdpses almost every ranged carry (trist is up there with him). The problem with kog is that he's easy to get in on and he has no way to get out or any escape mechanism. And no one likes to play him anyway, so most of his premade glory is unseen.

Ashe and Annie were the "cornerstones" of balancing ranged DPS / carries around, but since Annie got some major buffs, Ashe is the only one that's left. Changing how she works can very easily make or break the entirety of the game, because it'll throw the entire game balance out of proportion.

Buffing her to be OP can make or break the entirety of the game, but nerfing her to be UP only changes about 20% of all games at most for the majority of players.

Yes, Kog'maw is so much more superior than Ashe, that's why he's still freaking terrible and never once saw play in any major tournament as of late.

Looking at champions as a whole, Ashe is superior to Kog'Maw.

However, in the particular scenario you opted for, Kog'Maw quickly becomes a problem because he has a very high raw DPS output compared to Ashe. DPS output in the form of auto-attacks (or R spamming if for some reason you like doing so) can be stopped definitively by killing the perpetrator, and it can also be stopped temporarily with hard CC. Ashe on the other hand doesn't have quite as high of a raw DPS output, or even the range of Kog'Maw, but she excels more with her utility and to a marginal degree burst damage. To stop her type of utility, other than the slow-lock, and/or the burst damage, you'd have to either hard CC her or kill her REALLY fast. Assuming tournament level of skill and reaction, the only champs that can do this reliably without Flash are champs with gap closers with built-in hard CC, both of which must happen near instantly. There are quite a number of them, but at the same time there's numerous more champs with gap closers that do not have built-in instant hard CC. Yet at the same time, people can make the argument that hard CCs are gap closers in themselves, but this is going beyond the scope of this argument, unless you want to stray off topic.

Funny, all I read was you trying to tell me how a garbage champion was better than the "Queen" of ranged carries and how you like to take jabs at me for watching streams more than I play. Sorry that I play other PC games other than LoL and I have to watch something to keep me entertained while doing so?

Dam I'm REALLY sad Eve's getting nerfed. ever since I started playing her (saddly, just yesterday or 2 days ago), I haven't lost a single game, my whole match history is made with eve wins, makes me really sad that she'll be useless until the real stealth changes come in, I hope those give her stun back and make her a viable character.

Honestly, I wouldn't doubt if Ashe actually had a major role in gap closers being in the game, since she's the master kiter.

I enjoy watching and playing LoL, it's just I have more time to watch LoL than to play it, if that even makes sense since that said time could be spent playing LoL instead , so my time balance is extremely skewed. If anything, I blame the fact that I discovered CLG and TSM's websites, because they have a massive list of LoL streamers LOL

There is one thing that aroused my interest. What WOULD the game be like if Ashe didn't actually exist in LoL, as per what Pineapple said? I mean we could just easily say it would more or less be the same, but that's no fun.

 A random game with randoms!

Our MF got fed early on, and was 9-0 by end of laning phase. She did very well throughout the game. However, the enemy Veigar was albeit scary at the beginning. Had 260 AP midway through the 20-minute period, and could do scary bursts on our carries. We had to make sure to shut him down during teamfights so he wouldn't burst down our squishies.

Though, the game took a bit longer since we didn't want to overextend and give the other team the advantage. On my part, I got myself some interesting kills and assists.

Like for example, I was at the brush near the mid lane, and waited for the Veigar to step on a Shroom. Once he did, I used my Bandage Toss, ulted, and let Teemo finish him off (he died even after he ran behind his mid tower because of poison ). Another one was when Veigar focused me intensely during a 2v1 gank. I died, but that was more than enough for Teemo to finish him. Another was during the late-game period, when we had 1-2 enemy inhibitors down. Enemy Akali was desperately trying to prevent an super creep-enhanced wave from advancing. She took too much damage from the creep wave, and was at very low health. I saw this, and she was dead after one Bandage Toss and a Tantrum.

And that enemy Cho had lots of armor and HP, but no MR. So I herd u liekz to invite dem Bloodrazors and mai Despair?

Apparently they are looking to change MFs Ult which will be much appreciated since its basically a farming tool and nothing more.

Although i did have a game where i ulted a wave in lane so i could go back to buy, and the veigar i was against got caught in it and immediately flashed away luls.

Most channel ults are "eh" at best, MF has a passable ult with that aside.

Had a game this morning switching up my runes from AP runes to Cooldown and Defence. Seems to be working a ton better.

Our team's Akali was very bold throughout the game, going for lots of kills whenever she saw the opportunity arise (targeted mostly the squishies first).

The last clip made me shat lots of bricks. Huge fail for the other team, that Amumu simply wins lots of internets due to the 1v5 situation he was in.

Had my first loss as Eve, for the first time I was shut down by oracles, at all points past 30 minutes, at least 3 enemies had an oracle on, it was imposible to get near them, I still got kills after that but it was very hard and I needed my team to help.

See, we would've won if it wasn't because of Ashe, first she refused to put points on q because she said it was useless and e was better cause it gave her gold (even though she wasn't much of a last hitter...) and then when the game ended I noticed her build was Berserk boots, 3 phantom dancers and 2 zerker blades.

YAY I hit my first goal over getting over 1200 outside of placement games (since those are inflated elo gains and losses).
