Tespia v.99 Thread
Yokuyin Wrote:It's not as a meso sink as you think. You can fuse Brown Skullcaps (500 mesos from an NPC) for Alchemy Exp. You get 3 fewer exp then fusing lvl 31-70 items, but it's much cheaper.

And before the shops run out of Skullcaps because everyone is going to fuse them: there's more cheap equipment like the lvl 10 class hats (800 mesos each).

...Well, crap. I forgot about that. I guess I just wanted good potential stats on my favorite armor set in the game to the point where I completely forgot that there were far cheaper options available for those that are really doing it purely for the Alchemy EXP.

When fused items reveal on epic, all lines seem to be epic o.O

Some time before like.. 10 pst, whatever works best for other people. Any lurkers or whatever that want to go, make an account and post, or whisper Loladin in tespia. 100k hp/mp is very helpful and paladin is best dps imo. Let's try to kill 2 instructors!

as in preferably get max HP/MP, don't forget your NLC pots either, and please have the quests done and the key ready
10PST sounds good for me, also, i made a new char, called failadin.

HH is the best DPS in my opinion too <.<

Yeah, I kinda figured what I said would be taken as sarcasm. I'm not kidding at all, 3% all is amazing compared to the fact that no one really has anything. A 12% str shield is SUPER godly in a place where there are no cubes. Seriously, he's godly.

I believe Street was referring to the fact that you weren't contributing to the thread in any way with some of your comments.

OT: Do fused items come out with potential when the original two had potential on them, or is the potential chance always the same? I'd very much like to know this for when I'm making new characters in the future.

Apparently, as long as one of the things has potential, so will the result. I'm not aware of possible outcomes like "rare+rare=chance for unique" or "2lines+2lines=chance for 3 lines".

here's how it works:

nonpot+nonpot= whatever
nonpot+pot= whatever
pot+pot=pot
epic+rare=whatever pot
rare+rare=whatever pot
epic+epic=whatever pot (yes, including rare)

also, dissassembling 120 equips, i have gotten a good amount of 130+ crystals, but it can also give the 120- crystals, and theyseem to give 1~3 crystals at a time.

Can nonpot + nonpot = whatever pot?
Reply
pot + pot != pot 100%, more like 95%
nonpot + nonpot gives pot like.. 10% ish
pot + nonpot I'm not sure of, getting pot is ~30% I think? Was too low for me.

yea, around this, but i'd say 20% for non-pot/nonpot

I recorded a bunch a few pages back, saw the same 95% pot + pot = pot, more like 15-20% nonpot + nonpot = pot, and I didn't do many pot+nonpot, causes the first 6 I tried all came out nonpot. My guess is it's the same rate as 2 non-pot items.

edit: pineappleing 2 channels working, logged on on the wrong one so now I gotta do it all over again.

I didn't see all lines going Epic or anything, but it does seem like it might be higher odds than normal.
 Spoiler
These are after 300+ item fusions, but I did get rid of a couple lower level epic items confirming that epic+epic can still get rare potential.

I know int 2% is a secondary epic line, not sure about 16 acc but it probably is too.

Gonna keep fusing and hopefully have the whole set together by the time you do the run... do I have to leave from Henesys?

Fusion is the little potion icon under my mesos (blue). I opened up the UI, and the Alchemy Book is what you need to stand close to.

Whoa.
A unique item in Tespia.
That deserves a fucking medal.

Well, I guess I'll be making my Paladin into an Alchemist then.

Between all the nice potions and convenience of item fusing and disassembling, Alchemists seem like a pretty solid sub-class to use on a main.

I was originally leaning toward making my Paladin into a Blacksmith because he could use hammers and such, but I really don't see myself making equips all that often. I do, however, see myself going out of my way to make potions that can give various buffs or just transform my character for the hell of it, or to sell to friends at low prices, or to buff up my dps at high tier bosses and training locations.
