My first successful solo of the Magatia stage of Monster Park. I've come so close so many times before, started to annoy me. I only did it with the 40atk watermelon buff though. 60% in 20 minutes, I can only wonder how good the exp must be with other people.

Is there a limit on PvP or something? You need 10,000 BP to get a decent shoulderpad, that's maybe 150-200 PvP rounds.

New event. Until June 29th, monsters drop Crystal Chests (at a low-moderate rate). You have a tiny chance to get a 7-Day Orange Mushroom Mount, some Popsicles or even a Purple Surfboard.

Not that I know of. But the limiting reactant is Jewel crafting level, which would take several days to level up to the point where worthwhile shoulderpads are cranked out, additionally - need recipes.

Nah no NX. If you're talking about those Ice cubes, they need to be opened via NX, but that's a different event. The Crystal Chests (the blue ice coolers in Use slot) are free for everyone.

Well, you always have a 20-30% chance of success, so the first's probably gonna be someone aiming purely for "first" status and risking that chance. But yeah, it takes ~25 days to max it out to level 10, if you log once a day and don't buy extra fatigue pills. Minimum, 10 days, if you strategize and log on frequently, and drop 3mil a day for the extra 30 fatigue. (big one is 11:30-0:30 PST, you need to max your fatigue right before midnight and then consume the reset ASAP). After that, wait 12 hours, and do the same around noon PST (at the latest, 8pm, but better to be earlier)

So yeah I see your point, unlikely to be any before the week mark.


Also, I'd say the first decent shoulderpad is level 100/110, and those ones are 100% at level 7/8 crafting, which takes much less time (6000+4500+3200+2100+1200+500 = 17,500 @ 2000/day is 18 days, or @ 5000/day is 4 days.

That'll be me, lol. I've prepared the plates for the rush so i'm all set, just gotta be on at 3am my time for the resets lol.

They'd actually be 100% at 8/9 and 95% at 7/8.
I've failed 3 95% chance creations so far, two of them in a row.

I was going to do the 120 shoulderpad because hunting miners/oblivion guards is easy and i'm only losing out on 1 str and 1 attack. I have the evan glasses and DB mask to get as well so the only thing i need to forge is dark angelic and that shoulderpad. I have to get to level 10 either way to get the DAB recipe, but i'm not going to buy plates and stuff until after it comes out. I already have 20 lidiums (if they all pass, that is), and 20 wisdom crystals, so the rest is pretty easy.

In the end i'm looking forward to my 21 str, 12 rest of stats, and 21 attack gain as well as the 2% from max MW when i'm finished. It should bring my buffed range to like 37-39k. ^^

Also those +30 str potions...40k range on my own?! DROOL

Smelting is a 100% chance of making anything even at level 1, assuming Tespia is an accurate representation of what we'll get in gms.

Buying the plates after Chaos hits is going to be sooooooooo expensive lol. It's bad now but I can almost guarantee you that it'll be worse then.
