which char to focus on for PVP and Why?
#1
I've really been looking forward to PVP for a loooong while.
my chars are a Chief Bandit - Dark Knight - Dawn Warrior - Fire Poison Mage - BattleMage (IV) - Evan (VIII) - Slasher

I wanna invest alot of time on just getting good at one of them in PVP but I don't want to practice on what is basicly a character that has a very hard time against most classes.
I'm wondering which of these classes fairs the best at PVP and what classes in general seem to be high tier in PVP as far as we can tell.

Also, is there anything a 130 can't get that's required to forge the 130 PVP set? ( for example a drop from a future ereve mob )
also can a jeweler forge level 130 weapons/outfit (by my logic their might be an exception because the 7x pvp set (or is it 8x) is untradeable so they'd allow anyone to make it. I dunno you tell me )

practicing with a dark knight, i have to say... they aren't very good at it, because they start with 1/3'd of their HP (HB doesn't auto refill) and our mob move drains HP (roar) as does Sacrifice, which is top damage, also, you need to get in the face of the guy you plan to sac.

they feel slow because what remains as their best attack, crusher, is slow itself and fury... well, fury seems good for sniping, but archers and mechs were really pissing me off there <.<

paladins seem like a good choice, they can block, and have a good range and speed, paired with their HP

ofc, i was lagging the whole time, so i don't know if this is accourate enough, but it's what i felt

thanks for the info shinku but I don't want to open a new char to PVP, just focus on one of the ones I already have.
not interested in bandwagoning for example marksman ( or whatever will be no.1 ) just to have easy mode PVP. looking for the best choice out of what I already have.

if you have a tespia invite, why not try them there? and i only explained my opinion about dark knight, because it's the class i know how to play and with which i PVP's in tespia, others can add about the other classes and youcan make your own ideas, i just said that about mechs and BW's because as a dark knight, they annoyed the crap out of me <.<

PvP in Maple's a fucking joke, man. There's like a million people on top of you all the time in a tiny arena spamming skills with ridiculous AoE. The winner is whoever is best at whaling on people while they're distracted by someone else. Pick whatever.

Bashing the system doesn't help him at all.

missed this part. from what i see, nope, however i don't see the recipes for the 130 equips on PVP, which means you have to get them by luck, or trading with other players, and the 130+ rocks are gotten from dismantling 130+ equips (hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...ha) so unless the empress 140 equips drop like raindrops, your best bet will be dissassembling 120 and 110 stuff and wishing for more luck

i didn't go jeweler as my profession unfortunately.

It won't be hard to get super rocks considering you need at most like 10 of them.

it's more of a what you have to dissassemble to get it, not sure how easy to get 120 equips is

i actually found it quite fun, at least what i have to kill doesn't just keep running into my attacks trying to body-hug me only problem i saw was the obscene lag between what i did and what i saw, and the fact that the safe zone could be better.

Everything in PvP had about ~2400ms delay.. How is that even fun? The latency between each player caused the hitboxes to be completely off and characters were flying all over the place.

that's why i said that, it would be fun except for that.

Summons are the way to go in PvP. Or at least they are in kMS, since they don't lag at all.

shads are decent, boomerang step with shadow partner wrecks.

Can a Bowmaster hurricane it up in there? how about a Paladin that happens to be an Ultimate Adventurer? I don't have access to tespia.

They can hurricane but it doesn't work as well as you'd think. People move around too fast for you to land many hits.

Shads are pretty good in PvP, both Bstep / assulter are good. And venom can activate as well as smoke.
Smoke doesnt show up on screen but for a small amount of time you get its effect. Also CD on skills get reset after death.

Pallys are beast at PvP with decent damage and tank skills/hp. Or Fast chars, i think a NL would be great at PvP but i didnt test that yet ;p.
