Sometimes it seems like the forces of evil have all the advantages. Cool costumes, mighty powers, no ethics. Then something comes along that reminds you that good still has some tricks up its sleeve. Get yourself a heroic head start for Chaos and turn the level playing field of Maple World into a leveling playing field!

If you have a character of Level 70 or higher at any point between June 29th to July 26th, youll be able to create one Level 50 character of your choosing in any world where you have a level 70+ character! Select from Dual Blades, Evan and Aran to start your next adventure, but choose carefully! You will only be able to create one Jumpstart Character.

If you meet the condition for this event, simply log in to MapleStory during the event period, choose your world, and on the Select Character screen, click the Create! button. From here you will be able to choose a character and begin playing. Dual Blades will start in Kerning City, Evan in Henesys, and Aran in Rien. You will also be given a free character slot upon creating a Jumpstart characterif you already have fifteen slots in a world, however, you will not be able to create an additional character.

No matter where you begin, youll have a heroic head start thatll catch the forces of darkness napping!

Log in, level up, and look ahead, Maplers! Chaos is coming!

So does it mean you have to level a character to 70 in that time frame or can you already have one?

Already have one if im reading correctly. Me its like creating a free UA without needing the 120 CK and without the UA Status. Maybe ill remake my Dual Blader if they give the Free mastery books for 1-3job.

I wonder if we're going to get that event that KMS had, in which you had to level up a character 40 times (starting from level 40 at the earliest) to recieve an advanced version of their original prizes?

Would like an All Stat +3/ATK+3 glasses or mask... I'd definitely make an Evan for sure if this event comes too.

I have no problem with a free character slot, but I have a feeling something bad will happen to the Lvl 50 Aran/Evan/Db (Messed up HP/MP, missing skill points, etc. just like when Dbs are released with a lvl 30 head start.)

Level 50 Aran -> Has level 79 Aran
Level 50 DB -> Has level 40 DB that spent NX on skills

Yeah, this scares me a bit as well. A good amount of Evan's early quests award you SP. With this in mind, I'm thinking it'd be very easy for Nexon to screw up with Evans during this event.

Well, time to remake a DB. Let's see how far I can go this time without needing NX for skillbooks.

I'll be making an Aran. I've always loved playing one, but never had the capacity to level it to second job. I'd go with DB if not for needing NX for skill books so early.
