Vindictus Karok Update.

Anyone else try out Karok yesterday?
He's pretty fun to play as, Nexon randomly gave me 12k prepaid nx, probably as compensation for the token system being removed.
(Had like 30 premium tokens on my lann character from an old event)

So naturally, permanent inner armor ahoy.

Hot. Pink. Manshorts.

I'm going to see how far into the game I can solo without wearing armor, lol.

Yeah, they completely removed the token system like a month ago.
Also the new AP cap is 1,000

My computer isn't that good, so I'm not able to run everything at max.
Plus I forgot to set the recording quality to like, medium, so the quality is kinda' super pomegranatety.

Karok's my new main. I've been waiting for him to be released ever since Mabinogi Heroes got him.
I got him to level 27 yesterday, trying to get to 40+ before the x2 event this weekend so I can spam Hidden runs.

Also it's hilarious how many people didn't prep in advance for this guy. I made the main armor sets from 10 to 61 (Crimson Rage, Blood Prince, Heavier Red Tyrant, Swift / Black Hammer combo) way in advance, as well as buying the mats for Karok's higher level pillars, and the prices are ridiculous right now.

Nexon gave me 5k NX from my leftover Plat and Crimson tokens, my sister got 6k.

And Europe still doesn't have acces to Vindictus. No token system sounds awesome, too. I hope that if we ever get Vindictus EU we don't have to deal with it (yeah right...).

I got 11,000 but I never purchased any I just had the ones that nexon gave out WAAAAAY back and just never used them.

Did give Karok a try though yesterday when I was unable to solo. He's a huge powerhouse and bosses were really easy.

All bosses below level 60 got nerfed in this patch for some reason, no one knows why and it's pissing a lot of players off.

Also the addition of Karok no longer made Evie the Tank AND DPS character to be. Now she's just the DPS character to be.

Here's how things work in Vindi in terms of usefulness.

Evie's at the top, then you have Karok, then Sword Lanns and Fionas are after that. Then secondary weapon mules. And waaaaaayyyyy at the bottom are spear lanns.

Before Karok came out. Evie was the top DPS AND Tank character in game due to how powerful staff Evies were, and still are, and the fact that they have 10 mana shields, which blocks 10 or less attacks before they start losing HP. Never mind the fact they have a skill that increases the generation of mana shields, which just makes them even tankier overall.

Karok took the role of "Main Tank" with Evie / Fiona being "Off Tanks" and Lann just being the pure DPS character.

Oh, was it something to do with the "new" Evie update? 'Cause back in my day she died in 2 hits .

Oh yeah, the Evie update / Staff revamp made her extremely powerful to where Staff Evies were out DPSing Sword Lanns.

Karok's F11 animations are the best!

EDIT: Bleh, got halfway through level 32 before the server had to come down for unscheduled maintenance. Could have easily hit 35+ otherwise

Also Karok looks like a beefy version of the Blood Prince when he wears the full set lol
