Features are being restored one at a time until the source of the server freak-outs can be identified

Validation is almost done and I have this really nasty suspicion that the entire problem was on the host side, not us, and that whatever weird little network blip we had a couple hours ago was them fixing it.

these hosts sound quite incompetent i must say, the site has these like once per month. i'd make a joke here but it could count as obscene.
