What are you playing?

I hate all of those games but the PS3 is great and has a great selection of games now, and it's still growing. Especially with all of the collections coming.

so how good of a deal is it

It's pretty good. It's not great but it's better than you'll get at a store. Plus you can trade in all of those games for a single good one so yeah, pretty good.

i kinda regret getting a 360 now...i mean it does have a few good exclusive titles(halo) but i get the impression i would enjoy ps3 games more(mainly because i wanted to play disgaea 3&4) . oh well there's always ps4 at least...screw xbox 720!!

I've personally categorized how the systems appeal to me
Xbox = FPS Games
PS3 = RPG Games
Wii = Party Games

This is just my personal opinion.

OT:
I've been playing Super Meat Boy lately. I just finished getting 100% on the game last night, so I've been trying to do as many "Iron Man" runs as I possibly can.
Also still playing Disgaea 3 trying to get 100% Trophies before starting on Infamous and waiting for Disgaea 4. I only need 3 trophies and the problem is all3 are based on pure RNG due to the "Item world Pirates" and "Mystery Room" :|

Just beat Torchlight. Easily one of the best purchases I've ever made in the Xbox live Arcade. Can't wait until the summer arcade games come out. From Dust looks amazing, Fruit Ninja Kinect looks fun as hell and Insanely Twisted Planet is pretty interesting.

Bought a PS3 yesterday, traded in all of my bro's garbage games for some better ones. I've got MGS4, Midnight Club: L.A., Infamous, and Demon's Souls. So far I've started all except for Demon's Souls. Midnight Club is pretty fun, MGS4 is hard as d'ick, and Infamous is the satisfying open world game that I expected it to be.

Also, Gamestop gives $35 for Gran Turismo 5 so I think I'm going to trade it in; I already have Forza 3. What PS3 vidya should I get with the trade in credit?

I hope you didn't pay more than $10 for inFamous (even in credit) because you can now find it basically anywhere used for that much.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is out, but it's a PSP game. Same for the 3rd, but I don't think Sega's even announced that for the US yet...

So, I went into Gamestop today because I received an email containing a coupon for a full refund on any used vidya that I bought in the past week, without me actually having to give them back the vidya. Sounds too good to be true, but it actually worked.

I showed them my copy of Infamous, the receipt, and the coupon. Then the guy gives me $25 in cash and says have a nice day, no trading the game in or anything. It was pretty NEAT-O. Oh, and then I traded in Gran Turismo 5 for $40. Then I went and bought Uncharted 2, Littlebigplanet (the first one), and Valkyria Chronicles.

I have oh so many video games that I need to play.
