I've been seeing a lot more mordekaisers lately for some reason and they've been a pain in the butt to deal with. They either go AP and destroy everything but never seems to die because of their shield which lets them stay alive long enough for his whole team to wipe out ours, or they go tank and begin backdooring us with his whole team. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with him in general? I've tried to stop them from farming early game by harassing and killing them a few times but it's pretty hard when I solo lane as Galio or amumu and he constantly pushes to my turret.

You have to be enough of a threat to keep him away from the minions early game. Typically, ranged champions or ones that move and hit fast will keep me in check during the laning phase, as I can't get close enough to attack the minions and get my shield without them immediately taking it down. If you're not a threat, he'll walk down your lane like you're just another minion. If you've got to solo against him try to get a gank, preferably a champ who can slow and/or keep up with him. Since Mord has no escape abilities he'll likely have Exhaust to slow the attacker or Flash/Ghost to put distance between them. As Amumu, you can stun for a quick beat down to make him run.

During the laning phase, try to outzone Mordekaiser. That way, you deprive him of his minions and exp, making him quite easy to deal with.

It's pretty hard to do without a ranged character and a fear of junglers ganking, but that's the best way.

I was playing an inhouse 4v4 game with LoL U peeps, with lvl 30s in solo lanes and the newbies in bottom lane.

Corki utterly annihilatorated Vlad, and Soraka (me) spammed the crap out of Mordekaiser. Man, it's so weird having people run from a single Soraka mid-late game, lol xD

I spammed up Philo Stones and the other team's lvl 30s couldn't do much to me. They would lose. Until team fights started happening. They lost anyways. Mass healing OP.

Oh well, at least i know whatever card i buy will be a step up from Very Low settings~

the hd 5770 will run LoL on the highest settings at least. i know because i have the card. other games it falls short, though. i can't run SC2 on ultra/extreme (the highest one) with an optimal frame rate. but most pre-2010 releases and mmo's will run really well.

Hmm I wouldn't mind forming a team but it would have to be some of the best guys of our group (no offense to anyone). I just prefer to play to win when I'm tryharding.

pantheon is so fun, ended up 14/2/5 yay. and yay, 2 days of server maint starting from tomorrow meh, but they're giving us 1 day of bonus ip boost and all free heroes for 1 day (stupidest choice ever, i'd rather have longer ip booster)
