Now, for the first time in MapleStory history, we would like to publicly recognize those individuals who have made great contributions to the MapleStory community.

We have selected four winners, identified by their forum names, for their outstanding achievements in three categories: Creative Expressionist, Humanitarian, and Socialite.

True to her name, Angel Wings spreads the good news and keeps fans updated on all things MapleStory through Facebook and Twitter.


All four winning Maplers will receive an exclusive in-game medal as well as a trophy hand-sculpted by Nexon Americas very own web designer and resident artist.

The medals will not come with any stats, but are one-of-a-kind and will serve to distinguish the winning Maplers in-game.*

Hm. Still three fucking months with no announcement from that design event. It said in the rules that the result would be displayed in March 22nd, it's June 13th and still no result.

Thats actually pretty well made. My guess is they are making the design in clay and making a mold out of it. I wanna see the finished results though.

If the medals are tradeable for some reason, i'll give it 3 months until they're in "mass production".

Also, if I didn't already hate Nexon and dislike maple this would've been the last straw for me. Giving out specialized in-game collectibles for the biggest kiss-asses is completely unacceptable.

Jesus. Are you people ever satisfied? They finally do something to show they're more than just a money-hungry game company by awarding people something trivial and pointless for simply being recognizable members of the site forums, and you're upset?

We get it, you dislike Nexon. Now can you please stop using whatever excuse you find to state the obvious of your character?

You have to admit he does have a valid point. Of course some of the recipients may/may not be sucker-ups, but still, at least Nexon made an effort. Somewhat.

Regarding the bold: Oh god, how I laughed.
Now then. The 4 "awards" being given out are for 1) writing a fanfic, 2) making sculptures, 3) helping others out, and 4) announcing news regarding MS where possible. That last one's about as much "brown-nosing" as G.W. Bush was an intellectual man. So, your argument about "brown-nosing" is a shallow cover for you to blast Nexon, which as I said is typical for you.
