Well I've played 4 ranked games now. Technically 5, but my internet cut out and resulted in a leave which sucks ass btw. >_< Anyway, 2 wins, 2 losses so far with what I've actually played. So far I've concluded thus: Ban Eve so she doesn't pull your own team down, expect a long queue time when people keep dodging, and people are far quicker to call you a noob every time something bad happens because it's ranked. Also, my internet is fucking stupid sometimes . . . seriously, fucking lag spikes do not help me win games. *Glares at isp* But other than that, it's not so bad. Guess I'll see how far I can get before Season 2 starts and we get a reset. Not that I expect to get very high cause the way things are going, I think I'll be happy to end up above 1200 at this point. XP

By the way, what Graphics cards do you guys play with, and how good at they for LoL? Im getting a card when i get my desktop next week and i can afford a Radeon HD 5670, but idk if thats any good or not..

I run an XFX Radeon HD 5770 on my quad-core tower. It was on sale plus rebate ($99 all said and done) at Tiger Direct. I've run it on high, and the FPS really lags on this card at the higher resolutions/settings. It's not a "powerhouse" graphics card. It does do the job well enough, but keep anti-aliasing low and turn off shadow effects. Teamfights really bog the card down and since yours is once notch less down from mine, you might lag out of the game if you keep graphic options high. Try default first, and work up from there each game, one step at a time. That should give you an idea of where you want to keep the adjustment levels at.

Oh, forgot to mention, I run this on a 20" CRT, 1400x1050 Resolution, True-Color. Maple looks AWESOME on this monitor... F3...

You know how many times the comic has been posted whenever a stupid "LoL vs HoN" debate has popped up? Hell, the day it was posted, I saw the comic at least a dozen+ times in multiple topics just for the sake of arguing.

I don't even find it necessary to spend money on the game...
RP is only for those who really want another Champion or Rune Page and don't feel like investing the IP for it. Or they want to show off a skin or something.
I don't see myself buying RP soon although I admit I do wish I had a couple skins for my more frequently played Champions. Oh well.

Well, that and the fact that if you want everything in the freaking game, you're spending AT LEAST 2/3rd of the year just doing so, assuming you're even playing 24/7.
The main problem started when Riot revamped the IP system, thus having you gain less IP, while keeping everything else unaltered. The runes are the main culprit. They're way too freaking expensive just to fill up a full rune page with T3.

I bought both Champion packs to start off. Ive also bought Caitlyn, Vlad, Malz, Ez, Irelia, Vayne, Maokai, Cassiopeia and Miss Fortune with RP (some on sale) Along with like.. idk 15 - 20 skins. -forgot i bought Akali on sale to support Earthquake thingy-

I blame the charging system. You charge £5 like oh whatever its only £5, and then you look through all your emails like wow have i actually spend £100 since i started?

:o i heard 5770 was a really good card that could run newish games on max
Oh well, at least i know whatever card i buy will be a step up from Very Low settings~

On a side note, I've come to the conclusion that I need to stop duo-queuing with my irl friend in ranked. He drags my elo down like crazy and I lose almost every game I play with him.

I have a relatively good succes rate in duo.
