What exactly is changing with Chaos?

in general we get the PVP, 130 and 140 sets, empress, a few new maps, new maker, and i think that's it off the top of my head.

if you want to know what changes in the first patch only, can't really remember, but i know it's the DB/Aran skills, a few other skills from other classes, and new maker.

Yup, all mastery book drops are deleted. Every monster now drops Secret Mastery Books..

i think i got everything that changed in chaos, except the mastery books becoming hidden books, and treasure monsters. everything else is events and such, like the angelic ring and adding the ice knight to PVP and such

Evan, Aran and DB gets majorly revamped, some adventurer gets minor skill tweaks.

Future Henesys is coming too, but that's part of Empress... at least I think it is? haven't read anything about Chaos really, just the skill updates for my class and a little about the new maker stuff.

Before, people were under the illusion they could just, say, go to Captains and farm them 'til Big Bang 30 drops. After Chaos, if you want Big Bang 30, go to FM.

Well hunting for your own books was already like hitting a brick wall. So if your class had rare books this new system will make them findable in FM much easier and almost guaranteed cheaper after a while. Mastery book system sucks, and if they are going to keep it anyway, I'm sure this new deal will be better in the long run. If I had my way they would totally drop the book crap and connect skills to massive quests instead.

Of course all our dirt cheap books will rise in price. Any book with a huge arse supply before chaos will take a hit from this and grow more expensive, but the rare books not dropped at the common training grounds or at HT will eventually be cheaper. I have no idea about KMS market, but their economy is not similar enough to ours to base certainties on. But I guess this will not matter in the end anyway. Hacker scum run our economy, the books will be priced according to what they feel like getting/paying.

not really sure, since now you have a chance of getting MW 30 from any monster that drops mystery books, so it would depend on wether the % to get it is high or not.

however, seeing how advance enhancements deflated just by being put into ani... i don't think they will be worth as much.
