Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers)

Well, the plot is now getting so ridiculously repeative, predictable and lame that it deserves 2 quotes of my previous posts:

Good chapter, but frankly, this "I wan't to protect my friends *tear*" -> random powerup is getting a bit overused plot already.

Anyways this is too predictable. No good guy has ever died and even dead people are coming back to life.

Why is it so hard to find mangas/animes that have some balls/sense of realism when it comes to killing good guys? For example, Death Note and Deadman Wonderland.

Something that I noticed in the panel where everyone is pushing Erza is that nor Gildarts or Makarov are in it. maybe it's a hint that these two will die?

I like the manga, but I gotta admit he is right. When Grimoire hearts came into the play, it seemed like an unbeatable guild that would beat the sh'it out of fairy tail. That it would take a time out after the Tenrou island fight where Fairy tail would reorganize itself and its mages would get stronger to then hunt down Grimoire heart, retrieve Zeref and save the world. But the way things are going it seems Fairy tail will win this fight already. Next thing you know is that the person that charlie predicted would die turns out to be Ultear who turns against Hades/Puherito and sacrifices herself so she can meet again with her passed away mother Ur.

So in other words, your complaint is that instead of doing what happened, and making use of established plot elements (i.e. the tree had absorbed the magic of all the fairy tail mages on the island, it still had erza under its protection, confirmed by azuma, so he couldn't have killed her regardless, at least for the moment, and that it could make mages bearing the fairy tail mark under its influence stronger, we just saw it doing so as erza imagining her friends pushing her on.) they should just do the easily as common timeskip crap that every big shonen manga is doing or has done.

It could defintely have done without the gerard bit though. And this weeks and last should have been one chapter. But theres nothing wrong or made up plotwise that wasn't established before it happened.

2) I like the manga, even if I criticise the plot like Bleach. Don't worry I'm not another Shippo the Fox who is constantly repeating himself about how bleach sucks, is dropping in rankings and how Tite Kubo is most horrible mangaka ever.

Azuma was draining down the magic power of the whole island and fairy tail members, and then he used that magic power in one big attack against Erza. I guess it makes sense that the guild magic powers revealed against Azuma and powered up Erza.

I'm not criticizing the way Erza won, I'm critizing the fact they are all winning despite it seeming Grimoire Hearts was a superior guild. It is like Satelite said: Natsu won by the will of protecting Makarov, Juvia won by the will of proctecting Grey, Loki won by the will of protecting Lucy, Erza won by the will to protect them all and so on. It would have been far more interesting to see Fairy tail take a time out to grow their strength, I'm not talking about years or even months. Or they could have developed things in any other way, other than Fairy Tail winning through the strengh of their friendship.

This isn't over though. Hades could turn into Aizen and kill all the kins for failing on their duty, then take Zeref himself and scape away along Bluenote.

Well the Erza fight i kinda understand, i mean the dude was using Fairytale island's magic against a fairytale person. Generally what happens in a lot of these types of circumstances (manga or movie, but general fantasy [cause real life sucks that way]) is that a good force will never turn against a good person, so fantasy logic dictates that was the right outcome.

Even so,this entire arc has basically emphasized the friendship thing. Sure it gets old, but the manga is still pretty cool, art, dialog, and all.

At least Bixlow and Sigfried won't win by friendship. They'll win by skill@@@. Then Bluenote...Idk I think Gildartz will lose.

And Hades. I'm sure Luxus will beat him in a fight. But of course, big drama with him coming back and recognizes how the guild is good blah blah.

Chapters out and it is kickass.

Iced magic shell works the same as naruto's dead demon seal. Basically sealing the opponent eternally for the cost of your own life. I sure hope they make Gray more relevant again because in the earlier arcs he didn't do that much. I'd rater have Gray's ice magic then Natsu's normal fighting enhanced by his fire magic. Fire punch, Fire kick, Fire breath... bit boring in my opinion.
