Corsairs post chaos.

I thought I heard around here that chaos boosts buccaneers and corsairs a lot. But while talking to a friend earlier he said corsairs are not the top DPM or second anymore since they lack DPR lowering skills, and that chaos only makes ship unbreakable and nothing more.

So I checked the skill tables to see the Cannon dmg before and post chaos and I see no increasement either

Does Chaos help Corsairs other than making ship unbreakable?

If I recall it up's the training skills mostly, such as torpedo. But now were talking about cannon, with no real lag time, consistantly hitting one zoned in target. Corsair is the strongest adventurer is a more accurate phrase.

Battleship loses its cooldown, which is a big deal. Bullseye does a little more damage (620% -> 760%) and Rapid Fire does a little more damage (195% -> 225%). Torpedo and Cannon are not changed.

The only other change is that Gun Mastery gives twice the amount of accuracy in Chaos. I am sure that's just to bring it in line with the new accuracy formula. (Though, we don't know exactly what that is.)

By DPM i hope you mean in a game with no potential in it that you hace to spend $100+ to get on par with everyone else, then yes they are the strongest adventurers but not sure about in total thanks to DBs and Mechs.
