I seem to be doing well with Picks when playing with an AP Sona lol.

Yeah, Mercs works if you're not being babysat for majority of the game, otherwise it's better to go Zerker and C&D. Then again they play with Ashe on Bot with a support champion, so I can see the difference.

I play with Ashe in mid on teams with no common sense, so yes, there's a difference.

Btw Kaj, what's your generic build order for articuno? I was thinking:

rush catalyst (so mana crystal first?)

blasting wand/shoes 1

Defense item if i'm being majorly harrassed, otherwise shoes 2.

RoA + Tear

Defense upgrade as needed

AA

Deathcap if pwning/ other stuff as necessary.

That's an acceptable shopping list.

I think one item you didn't mention that's worth looking at is Banshee's Veil. Anivia has two skills that you'll need free will to utilize fully: Flash Frost and Glacial Storm. Aside from that, it's a great item for squishies to grab anyways, since one CC can usually spell the end for you.

RoA and AA are good items for Anivia, but which one you get first should be looked at fairly early. AA is the more hardline route for any caster with spammy shyt, while RoA gives health. Some things to consider:
--How often you'll get blue. You can do this yourself with a Blasting Wand and some MP as early as level 6, but it will leave you OOM. Alternatively, your jungler can do this for you. Yet another alternative is to kill someone with blue (but don't rely on this strat obviously).
--Are you good at staying out of danger? Are you good at controlling the situation around you? If so, you may not need the extra health, and go straight for Tear of the Goddess. It takes 12.5 minutes minimum to fully charge Tear, but it will usually take well beyond 30 minutes to do so in reality. It takes 10 minutes to fully charge RoA on the other hand.
--Do you really need that BV? Or are you fine with RoA?
--Is lane endurance forecasted for you? Catalyst is recommended for this.

Personally, I rush Tear first and grab boots accordingly. It's a good idea to watch what your opponents build. I wouldn't mind an early Negatron Cloak if I see some people on the other team get Sorc Boots.

But...a Cloak and Dagger + Berzerker's Greaves is more damage than just Mercury Treads + whatever.

But...Mercury Treads + whatever is more tenacity than just Cloak and Dagger + Berzerker's Greaves.

Hey Tylar and Derosis, im sorry for leaving the game I was in with you guys last night....... my computer decided to crap out on me

Played as veigar in a co op to try him out again. Decided to go with a lulzy build.

Started with a ring.

Sorcs
Tear+mejai's
That mask with 20 mpen
Upgrade Tear to AA... Have 580+AP due to farming with Q and killing stuff.

So far:
Sorcs (20mpen), Mask (20 mpen), Runes (10mpen), AA, Mejai's, bought another pair of sorcs for the hell of it.

Ended up with 70|15% mpen and roughly 650AP. Made me lol

MFW, I explode, literally like.. explode, a full HP soraka with a W->Q. :O
(That was midway through the game, not fully built)

Played 3 arranged 5v5 ranked last night with a couple of friends. We lost 2 badly, but at least we won this one:

Yeah, we managed to grab two of the best - if not, "OP" tanks - in low-ELO ranked games. We won this one handily. Tons of support, saves, and initiations going on between me and that Shen.

And Alistar is sooooooooo OP in ranked once he gets on a roll.

Was Amumu/Orianna against Mord/Ali. Got quite zoned because Mord hits like a truck (which is really annoying)
I felt kinda half assed and kept dying to the mord so i just sat bottom for a while farming. The rest of my team were managing to ace them all middle numerous times while i just pushed bot first tower, and then they surrendered.

First game i think where i felt like i could easily be removed from the game and not effect anything.

Which is understandable, but what about everyone else? That's no excuse IMHO.

Is it bad that I don't use the unlocked camera while I play?
Almost every video I see people are using the unlocked camera while I always play with it locked. I just find it too awkward especially when I'm laning. I realize unlocked camera helps when you're mid on purple team because the UI gets in the way but I can't seem to move my champion around properly while also moving the screen around.

Dam Kaj, that wall rendered her pretty useless, although she should've jumped over it with cougar, or saved her flash for that.
