Interesting.

It notes that 3DS Smash could be some sort of a pseudo-RPG type game where you can build up a character and transfer it to the Wii U Smash.

I can't wait for it to go into development. :3 This and OoT are my soul targets for getting a 3DS.

I don't know about the Wii U, though. I don't think I can afford that for a long time, much less Super Smash Bros. for it. lol Maybe if I can convince my friend to go job hunting with me, since I have no transportation...

I guess that works. It's harder to play local multiplayer on a handheld like the 3DS anyway, so it's good that they're making the solo gameplay different.

Makes sense considering they said "Porting" the basic gameplay over. I'm probably gonna say it'll be a variant of SSBM.

Just so you know Brawl is called Smash Bros X in Japan so they are talking about that.

It reminds me of the Mario Tennis/Golf for the GBC. They were RPG’s where you levelled your character and using the transfer pak you could play them on the N64 version. That was awesome so if it’s anything like that I’m all for it.

And um, while I'd like a regular Smash game on each console, a Nintendo crossover RPG could turn out wonderfully...

Mr. Sakurai discussing the possibility of adding a Capcom character or two to the mix. Prolly would be Ryu or Mega Man.(Makes the most sense to me anyways)

Megaman X is probably the best character. He fits in the game still and can take advantage of the Hadouken and Shoryuken, the most iconic moves in a fighting game.

Megaman, Okami and Dante seem the most likely candidates. Resident Evil characters are in the Street Fighter vs. Capcom games so I doubt they'll make an appearance.

:f6: Now I might be confused, but didn't characters from all of those franchises make it into marvel vs capcom game (Megaman had Zero, Okami had amaterasu, which is the main characters name from the first game, Resident evil had Chris redfield and dante was playable)

Honestly, it would probably either be ryu or megaman. Though if I got to choose who it would be, I'd rather it be Amaterasu.

As for other nintendo characters, I want someone from golden sun, probably issac, though they might go for matthew to help push golden sun 4.
From Zelda, they should have added Wolf link/midna in brawl already really.
Mario has enough, metroid, maybe ridley? Obviously he'd have to be downscaled like bowser is.
Little Mac, maybe. I think i'm probably scrapping the barrel here really.

From Megaman we have Zero and Tron Bonne, Resident Evil have Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker and Devil May Cry have Dante and Trish.

Street Fighter has a history with Nintendo somewhat. I don't know how many different version of SSFII I played on the SNES
