Fuuuu. It's gonna be weird playing Smash on the Wii U then.

LOL i feel like this is the main reason why everyone wants GC controller compatibility xD I guess we'll have to go out and buy the Wii version of the GC controller :C

Don't see why everybody's complaining about the name. It's like when the Wii originally came out and everyone was making penis jokes. Except this time, the name is a slightly more paletable. Seriously, it's just a name.

The Wii U controller itself is more suited for controller-intensive play, so it probably won't be too bad.

Nope.

The classic controller works, though. I don't see what everyone complains about with the classic controller. I have huge hands, but I can use the classic controller for hours without getting cramps or anything. In fact, I've started to prefer it on games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I've tried playing with the Classic Controller before. Didn't turn out well.

The clothes fit, yes, but her overall appearance doesn't scream "Zelda" to me.

For all we know, that design we see on her clothes could be the predecessor to the Royal Family crest that we see in the later games. You can easily tell it's not the same design as :



I mean, there's a very, very, very high chance of it being Zelda and, like in Minish Cap, she and Link are best friends. However, it's a good chance that she's just some girl who's a friend of Link's who bears a marking of their town in the sky, the symbol which would evolve into the later Royal Family Crest that we see above, which appears in the later games. For all we know, the town in the sky in which Link and the rest of the Hylians live in doesn't have royalty or any kind of monarchy based government. The kingdom of Hyrule probably bases itself heavily on the culture of the town we'll see in Skyward Sword.

Actually, the Triforce isn't on her clothes. You can see most of the other half of that part of her clothes in the trailer and it's just more of a bird-type design.

I dunno, i don't think there's a comparison here. She was a pirate and not a childhood friend. I think link's sister in wind waker would be a better comparison. There's always a friend/love interest/family he goes out to save because she's put in danger and zelda shows up either bluntly or dramatically, but zelda is almost never (except in OoT) the person you have to save. (in recent games anyway)

i don't think zelda ever needed saving in the majority of games. zelda didn't even show up as a main character in some of them. :/

Pretty sure after Tetra was revealed to be Zelda she got captured soon after. Aryll was too young to be Zelda anyway. The two (Link and Zelda) have always been the same age.

If the girl in the picture I posted isn't Zelda I will eat my hat.
