Disappoint. Not a new system, just a new controller for the wii. Nothing to see here, guys.

New Zelda? Or possibly just a cinematic? I'm betting the latter.

So wait is there a new console or just a controller. Weird.

^ oh good, i'm not crazy, i didn't recognize that zelda footage either.

It IS a new system -- it's a tablet, like an iPad. I think it's a pretty good idea.

Well, Nintendo blew it again. It's over.

Nintendo no longer cares about real gamers. Just wagglers and moms and casuals who like to use theirs hands to solve puzzles.

"new controller used 6.2 screen means you won't have to give up your game playing when someone else comes into the room to watch TV "

my brother won't stop playing, EVER now.

The fact that it's like a tablet, but the idea of it is a controller kind of irks me... I'm not gonna judge it until I try it out for myself. I need to see more to be convinced.

It is the growing trend though. Before nintendo did any of this, it was an untapped market of a large population. And it's probably the larger market, which is why they are gearing more towards the casual as the hardcore is probably not as large.

A tablet/controller would have probably been a better idea.

3DS was mostly ports and remakes, though I'd be lying if I said i didn't see that coming. I did like the new Pit and Luigi's mansion (mostly because the games that aren't like mario games are my favorite mario games, sports version of mario games excluded)

Wii U has been made before, actually it's just like 3 devices a smart phone, one of those educational "game systems" you connect to your tv, and an Ipad. Not impressed at all. It's not a new system just a "new" way to play the old one... and to be honest it seems more annoying to play with.

Nintendo did not do all that well this year (when compared to the previous year), but who knows, they may convince me later.

Of course, 3DS and WiiU WORK TOGETHER. WHO WOULDA THUNKIT.

SSB for hand held? YES YES YES YES YES YES

As a PC gamer, I don't really care about hardcore gaming on consoles. Don't mind another casual system. Not like Nintendo was going to change its highly successful business strategy anyway.

I'd rather use a leapster controller than that crap.
Smash for 3DS AND luigis mansion has sort of won me over though <3
