Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread
Oh you guys are so cute.

The only EX ACTIVES are Full Swing and Punto, there are tons of EX Passives. The ones that a Battle Mage will want to invest in will be Mana Shield, Elemental Attack upgrade depending on build, Phys/Mag attack upgrade depending on build. I personally have EX Palm, EX Mana Shield, EX Physical, and EX Full Swing. I made some silly mistakes and put points into EX Evade and EX Magic, but those will probably delve into something.

It really depends on what kind of build you're going to run for a Battle Mage.

And Daku, with such a low level of swatter and befriend pluto you're going to be shiting out Hunters like no tomorrow if you follow that build.

HUD EDIT VERSION 2!

Wait...what about the EX chaser that gives us 2 more chasers max?

Elemental damage is meh unless you're running a heavy chaser build, in which case go cloth get EX int and stuff I guess. What else can we even put EX into that'd be worth it besides the ones you listed? Meteor Dash EX is same effect as palm blast I think, more distance and damage. But I don't even max that so there's not much of a point. I think hit rate might be a good idea especially for spear users, maybe I'd invest in that too.

What the? Is that a Starcraft Terran UI?

Very well, that's one custom UI I can get down with.
Ohyes I'm so dumb, the chaser EX is a must. I skipped all over that since it doesnt show in my skill inventory. Uhm, that's really about it. You can add into EX Stabbing Wheel or EX Meteor Dash if you'd like, but the rest of the EX skills you get as a BM don't really help (shururu, library, whip, etc). There are a lot passives, but again it depends on your build, ie chaser vs physical.

Hm...so maybe like this for physical:

Tp used | skill

3 Mana shield
3 Palm Blast (probably since it's really good dps if you max it?)
2 Chaser upgrade
3 Punto wave
6 Full Swing(not sure if we need max EX full swing)
3 Str (debatable)

Total: 20

3 TP left after that for hit rate maybe? What about that basic attack upgrade EX skill since it adds 10% per level to your basic xxx attack.
+75 to your main attack stat is never a bad idea. Also, I say dump that last TP into hit rate, because missing less is probably the best way to both maximize damage as well as avoiding damage. Land attacks more = more control on/damage dealt to the enemies = enemies die faster or more easily = less hits taken = saves potions and tokens.

Had to see the whole UI naked to realize cause all da regular DFO icons blocking the view. Deal with it.
Using a custom UI seems like such a hassle.. But I want one. ;_;
Someone link me to a video or something.
Also, anyone want to start anew with my soon to be elementalist? I'm bored don't feel like playing mains till SI. :<
MariaColette Wrote:According to the skill planner, there's also Stabbing Wheel EX and Meteor Dash EX... I would assume Mana Shield EX is worth it, but I sadly know nothing about what any of the skills give but if it allows me to take less damage, do want.

Must know what all of these skills and EX skills will entail. ;-;

I haven't thought much about EX skills for my BM much yet, although EX Full Swing and EX Punto Wave seem like good burst damage moves for a class that has barely any.

For Ele - int, hit rate, elemental attack, void, shining walls, and volcano are the ones I'll probably go for.

THing is, my hit rate is pertty decent with a pole. But +30% regular xxx attack damage? It's really tempting.

True, but how much of your damage comes from XXX, and not all the cooldown/cube moves at your disposal? Hit rate will help all your other abilities so much more. Also, how much hit rate do you have anyways? Around 12-13% hit rate is needed to rarely miss on King's Road, and I'm sure Hero's Road will really require a trollsome about of hit rate.
So, I want to organize an all Exorcist Screaming Cavern run. I really want Mark and Alex on this run so we can cover all the builds for Exorcists (physical, magic, and pig disgusting hybrid). If we can get a fourth, that would be cool but a party of three would be good enough, I guess.

Also, would one of you be willing to record? I can record but it lags me pretty badly, so if one of you can record without it affecting gameplay, that would be awesome.

Updated.
So, these new Battle Mage skills, Fusion Chaser and Double Smash... how worth it are they? I'm leaving them at 1 in my current build until I hear otherwise. :X

EDIT:

Not shown: Good Hit Training and Physical Hit Training, both level 3.

Opinions pls. :<
Since we're all sharing:

Witch, AM and Festival are also in build

 nen

When do you plan on doing this? I am willing to come to Screaming on my guy, and since I have an i5 I should have the least trouble recording. What video quality do you want it to be? As high as possible?

Capricorn Wrote:jay is a bully hmph

Buy a dual build once it comes out. Be Physical AND Magic. Bestest hybrid character ever.

*Also, how are you guys all getting screenshots of the skill planner without needing to screenshot the whole computer screen with PrtScn? Yes I'm totally bad with this skill planner, QQ.
