what do you listen to when youre grinding
(yes, im planing to grind today for a few hours, and wanted to see what you listen to)

I have an extremely large taste in music but lately I've been listening to a strict few bands that I just love listening to.

Seriously just leave the BGM on. I like most of them and the atmosphere really gets me into the game more.

Recently I've been listening to audiobooks. It's hard to chat while listening so it's easier to turn off BL and Guild chat. I'd recommend a book you'd want to read anyway. Gotta keep your interest so you don't get bored and go do something else.

Christine did me well, nearly 20 hours long and I grinded 4-5 levels on my Fighter listening to it


I would definitely recommend using an audioplayer you can pause from ingame though (I have F8 mapped to play/pause). Very useful when someone needs to talk to you, or you need a pee break.

I don't grind much. But, if I do...

Maple BGM... or rarely just my playlist, which would be any & all of the songs I use to DJ. Which is basically everything in existence.

I have exactly 4701 songs on my HD.

Best way to grind = Having them all play. Either that or I take my hour long techno/trance mixes and crank them up to max volume.

I either leave it on, or mute the sound.

I have about 1,500 songs on my computer that I just have randomly shuffled when I grind. It ranges from heavy stuff like Walls of Jericho, Otep, Five Finger Death Punch - to just random stuff like the Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10, Tactics soundtrack I have (yeah, I seriously do. >.>) to Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack.

Oh yeah, and you can't forget 'Still Alive' by Jonathan Coulton. =3
