I'm honestly ready for them to just wipe the entire system clean -- equips, scrolls, mesos -- wipe it all.

For actual fixes for the constant exploits what could Nexon do though? Implement some sort of unique id system for every equip/scroll and delete anything with a duplicate number every sc/patch?

Obviously having a secure game would be the best thing to do but seeing as how that hasn't been the case for several years I think they need to start realizing their game will be hacked and they need to have a better back-up plan than just rolling back every time something gets out of control or worse yet, trying to manually delete everything that got created.

What event are they duping for?

This is another one of those situations where simply having "boots on the ground" would easily work to eliminate negative elements from the game. Much like having someone wander through ToT, HT or CZak; or having someone actively looking at their own rankings; if there was someone in game that just meandered through the MTS looking for suspicious stuff like this hundreds of bans could be handed out, easily.

I don't even care if you're a merchant anymore, I partake in the activity myself, but if you have two PB chairs you ought to get the boot and individual cases will be handled slowly and separately. If you have more than X amount of certain scrolls, you also get the out.

This is all sorts of foolishness, compounded by the fact that they ought to just take the game down. I don't know what they are trying to do. I'd like to believe that they are just stringing hackers along so they can catch boatloads of dupers, but of course we know that isn't the case since hundreds slip through the cracks all the time. In this case, overwhelming, excessive action by shutting the game down is far better than inaction because they don't know what to do.

I think my home computer is more powerful than nexon servers LOL.

I wish I'd taken screenshots... I was on around 6-9pm slowly training my DW for silver coins, when the channel crashed. I rolled back to not having logged on at all today. (I know cause I was at around 17%, logged on, immediately did the first artifact quest with the petrified mouse - which pushed me to 26% - then later yesterday grinded to 80% or so) when I logged on again around 2am, cause people in this thread said the crashing had stopped, I had the petrified mouse and I submitted it for the same 550k exp to the same 26%.

As far as duplicated items go, this is pretty selfish, but come on, enough with the SCGs and VSS. We Evans and Mages need some hacker love too, E.Staff 5 and 8 please or any of the higher 4 but those in particular.

That was interesting...how could you have predicted across servers? Continue with these updates Shinkudamus lest we let all the hackers have all the fun. Actually, I don't have anything worth duping, I'm just curious about how coordinated these attacks are.

well not only did Nexon rape Locked's guess at when they'd take the game down, they're gonna blow past mine too.. it's not going to be a good day for this game.

Chilly, every 15min and 45min past the hour is when the crashes occur since it requires you to be inside the cake vs. pie event map.
