Americans are more asian friendly,
#1
compared to british people. do you guys agree ? i sure do.

i find the eurasians here to be more disrespectful towards asian singaporeans. it might be a stereotype but i feel like they look down on us. where as australians/russians/americans are more open(?) i personally know a russian guy(studying in singapore) and i found out he's nothing like those eurasians we typically see at clubs and shopping malls around orchard road.

Some Finnish people look down on literally everyone who isn't a Finn. I would say that I've seen least stereotypes about asians, might be cause most of the time the asian immigrants tend to get a job.

And then there is people like me who like Asians more than my own race. Asians behave way better and the ones I've seen are really nice to everyone. Asian women are my favorite and they seem to age slower than whites.

in other words:

You are stereotyping stereotyping.

EDIT:

Russian? Those guys are a different thing. It's a bit ironic, but I read that Russia actually prefers Finns out of all their neighbors, yet another survey showed that Finland hates Russians the most.

I think it's stupid to think that Soviet Union equals Russia. But I do understand my grandpa who had to leave his hometown when Soviet forces invaded and bombed it. On top of that his father was killed by a Russian soldier and at this time he was only the age of 5. :/

And later, Russia has admitted that Stalin set us up to get a reason for war.

"I find the Eurasians here ..."

Care defining where "here" is?

In Cambridge, this doesn't really occur. Then again, Cambridge is way too international. If you're talking about racism and bias, I find that UK/US people treat asians about the same.

The French are worse. Like wayyy worse...

The french just have a way with hating everything that's not french. However, I guess the asian hate he's talking about should be due to the recent immigration into Europe, when it used to be more closed to immigrations. The USA is an immigrant country by definition (though they are not that open right now), so there are communities from different countries already living in the US for a long time.

People have told me that the French refuse to speak to you in English even if they can, apparently they're proud of their own language to the extent of alienating people. :\

And I thought they were on good terms with the Japanese, has that changed lately?

I've talked with several french people in english, i've been there on vacation. It's bullshit, none of them even thought twice before replying in english, besides a few who said that they didnt speak english, i knew some french but not enough to ask questions back then.

But are Americans more friendly to white people? How do they compare to British people and white people?

This needs to be known.

Might be true, but it gives me egoistic impression too, when, for example in loleurovision, they are the only country to announce their votes in their native language and no1 understands pomegranade.

I havent met any French people yet, except during the youth olympics period where a french couple spoke english to me in a deep french accent(<3). love that. i will, someday learn french.

From what some of my Euro friends tell me, it seems Americans/Canadians tend to be nicer to Asians. ._.

But one of my really good online friends that I've met in real life in Japan is France French. She's super awesome to me. And she loves Asians.
But she has mentioned how rude fellow Frenchmen are about anything, lol.

My Asian mate in Melbourne, Australia says a lot of the white people she knows dislike Asians. She told me how when she was with a white guy, no one thought they were a real couple because of racial differences. My gf goes to Newcastle and says she doesn't notice that sort of thing there....

That would be on a case-by-case basis, from what I've seen.

Personally, I don't really care; we're all human anyway.

I can't say the same for other people though; there are quite a lot of Asians out there who hate whites because they believe them to be haughty folk.

I blame Americans for that. Well maybe French too.

to be frank i dont care if youre yellow, black, white, kiwi, aussie wtv, if youre nice to me, ill be nice to you.

also, hanabira, i find whites to be more generous, albeit rude when i had my flag day earlier this year. thats where all these feelings came from and how this thread was born. most of them i asked are eurasians, older ones seems to be nice but some of the younger ones we asked alienated us...

and yeah, it should be a case-by-case case basis but a stereotype HAVE to come from somewhere right ?
