Constantly crashing at Von Leon

Basically Von Leon will send my memory usage up to around at least 800K. I figured this was the main problem, and constantly changed my game quality with would lower my usage a bit each time. But this didn't help either.

Whenever I hit the 40minute mark I dc. I've tried this like 5 times on XP and once on Win7.

The XP specs were Intel Core2 Duo T7250 @ 2.00Ghz, 3GB of RAM and an nvidea card. I'll have to get the Win7 specs later. I don't have problems anywhere else.

I hear it usually happens when spawn maxes out, which I guess is possible. But how do others solo it.

So basically is there a way to fix it, or how do people get around this (Stares at Marksmanbryan). It sucks to be able to solo, but dc every time f444.

If this was fixed I wouldn't have a problem with my dumbass gloves.

Pretty sure there's nothing special about it and it runs 64-bit w7 on a dual core processor. I don't know what's up with it. Have you tried disabling sound drivers?

Not yet, I'll try that next time. I thought it was exclusively XP till I tried it on a Win7 comp and had the same thing happen.

Hmm, I wonder if Nexon altered something in the code, because whenever Steve and I tried to duo a couple months ago, I would DC / Crash, at around the timer spotting 40min or so, even with my sound drivers disabled.
Then again, it could be dependent on OS, since I run Vista64.

Turn off your sound drivers it works for me.

I don't do anything special. Keep sound on, window mode, full quality, etc. o.O

I run W7 32 bit since you brought me up.

Disabling the Audio didn't work for me, still dced at about the same point. Sigh will try disabling on the Win7 comp later.

I also tested with sound disabled and DCed on two comps Win XP 32-bit 1GB and 2GB.

Disabling sound has little or no effect at all to whether or not you will or will not DC.

Guess I'm special.

I only referred this to VL though, when we had that music loop issue it helped back then. Now it makes little or no difference at all, I can use both and DC or not DC. Avoiding mobs and I won't crash with or without the sound card disabled, I'll be alive. Stick me in a giant group of mobs all day and I'll crash easily within 5-15mins.

I had already sent this into Nexon a couple times and got a response back saying that after they did further investigation turns out there's some internal error or something? But I think unless they fix it the only way to solo it for people who have trouble is to disable the sound card. Haven't tried this myself but I'm sure it'll work.
