We started laughing pretty hard when we saw that the counter didn't go beyond 2 digits.

EDIT: Also, MUST SEE Replay! The best comeback I've ever witnessed in LoL and on HSGG's stream no less.

I was in a game like that with Jeff's friends from MS. This was before I knew how to SS and have the LoL replay setup. It was a funny game indeed.
>Pineapple' Wrote:If you're comparing them to chinese art it's a no contest >_>

New arts are better than the all of the old arts though imo.

I'm not comparing them, because we all know those flat out win easily. I'm just saying that my personal opinion on the new splash arts aren't all that good from the previous ones I've seen.

Also, I just saw the old Veigar and Twitch splashes and I'll agree that they're a helluva lot better than their olds ones, by far.
The new Sivir one is decently better, but it at least has better background that's for sure.

I also forgot about the old vs new LeBlanc splash and the new one totally owns the old one.

Know that if the tables were turned, I would show you no mercy!

Also, Ashe would like a word with you.
Slow night...

I queued up with my real friends, and I went jungle Amumu.

The enemy Orianna we faced up against was hella good. Though I must say, she's a tad bit OP. A couple of times, she trapped us in a bunch with her orb while we were attempting to take out the mid outer tower in a 1v4 situation. What the hell. Tongue. That's like Xin Zhao when he was first released (inb4 Orianna fix/nerfs). And boy she hits really hard too. Later on, we started focusing her a bit since we realized she could snowball out of control if we didnt shut her down. She never got too many kills after that, and started racking up a lot of detahs.

I started out very badly. Everything went wrong for me. I made a bad gank, got counter-jungled by the enemy jungle Udyr, and getting instagibbed in my own jungle. By the time mid-game phase started, I was 0-4-4. Horrible. Then for whatever reason, as we started taking advantage of them splitting up during chases and teamfights, I started nailing kills. Went on a 4-kill streak before I got killed. Okay, at least I saved my butt from utter humiliation.

Orianna was still a major threat. So was their Xin Zhao. We kept our senses heightened. I realized that if they split up, we could take them down more easily. In a teamfight, they were pretty damn strong. Fortunately, they made the mistake of splitting up quite often, which made our jobs much easier. Though there were at times they stuck together, and we nearly got aced.

And one funny thing was when the other team was chasing my friend - on Singed - 2 people made the mistake of chasing after him, with <200 HP, right on his poison trail. Now wouldn't that require some common sense to realize you're not supposed to do that, and feed Singed with 2 kills as a result?

My friend - on Corki - got hella fed. He went 22-2-10. Had a few close calls. When my teammates and I got our acts together, we helped him get the kills he needed. And protecting him, of course. My end score was 5-7-17.

The other team eventually surrendered after 45 or so minutes. Though I must say, it was quite scary a few times when they pushed quite hard. I thought we were gonna lose.
Orianna is far from being tagged "OP", but she's a really strong support class that's for sure.

It's pretty cool they built her as an offensive support champion, and funny that she's a far superior version of Karma lol

Unless she goes 1v5 and gets a penta kill then they're not compareable f3
She's like..the sniper in TF2. If she's good, then goddamm, she'll rape your team. If she's bad...expect a lost.
I hate this week. All these noobs stealing my teemo and sucking at it and theres a retarded swain on my team in EVERY SINGLE GAME.

Ha ha ha learn to play someone else =P.
Corn Wrote:Ha ha ha learn to play someone else =P.

oh i can play other champions, i just don't like to
Every normal i play there is no tank so i have to <_<

Just now i was like screw this im having fun so i went Kayle who i literally have no clue how to play lul. Not only did we get placed on an american server so it was laggy as hell, but we got facerolled so hard. I had 14 cs at the end and we surrendered at 25mins.. Why is Kayle labelled Easy :o

And do obvious facerolls really deserve you to gg us at the end? i mean seriously..
I decided to play a champ that I hadn't played in a long time, so I heimed. After the game I have several options as to why we lost.
1) He's underpowered.
2) I suck.
3) My team sucked
4) The enemy team was too good.

I think that heim needs too much AP to start damaging, but I couldn't get full AP when the enemy fed twitch was instagibbing me with 4 shots or some crap.
I still haven't met an Orianna that forced me to look up her skills yet. I've went against good ones but not any that flat out raped our team.

I played two ranked today and got a penta kill. Whooo, 2nd penta kill in ranked.

I've been losing all my elo from duo queue with friends/randoms on my list for the past 2-3 months. Last week, I lost like 150 elo in a few days cause of my friends. I got fed up with it, solo queued 90% of my games and gained almost 200 elo in a week. Screw duo queue..

Heimerdinger is labeled as "Support" for a reason =P.

Played Teemo for the first time. Didn't even play a Custom Match with him. I raped as AP Teemo.

I think I'll need to test Blitzcrank out in Co-op vs AI or custom matches first though...

Kayle has a really hard early game, and a really easy late game. She's a great late game carry, but she requires quite a bit of farm/kills to reach that point.

Heimer relies on his turrets a lot and unfortunately, very few battles take place immediately in front of them, and stay in front. So you're almost always going to be relying on your grenade and missles for damage, which while effective, mean getting in a bit too close against most ranged dps. He can be strong in a pushing team comp, but there are usually better champs for the role he provides.
Argh, shame the open mobafire tournament is on a weekday, otherwise I'd ask if anyone wants to go Biggrin.

If you guys actually do want to go though, put me as a reserve.
Queueing with Berzerk, Aly (ManaTomo), and a few others

Wow. I don't even know how to start this off. Early game, it was so-so. Me and the Orianna did well at first, killing both the Ashe and Mordekaiser (caught Ashe out of position). I got my second kill when Ashe was trying to run, yet was still out in the open, within range. But soon we were getting our asses wiped. Kass became hella fed, and was nearly impossible to shut down (damn his teleport skill >_>). Throughout mid-game, it was all that. At two times in the game, we considered surrendering, but we decided to keep continuing.

Things changed late mid-game to early late game. We had pushed their mid all the way to their base turret, but couldn't go on. Soon, we pushed their base turret and took out their inhibitor, the proceeded to take out their top 2nd row turret. This gave us some breathing room. But we found ourselves in another teamfight, which we lost. We were forced to defend. In a couple of late-game teamfights, for some reason, they were not cohesive and organized. We somehow punched through, killed the Kass, killed their Blitz and Mordekaiser, and went chasing their squishies. This was the game changer. We were able to push once more, taking out two inhibitors and the bottom base turret.

Long story short, we pushed once more, eliminated most of them, and we finally took out their Nexus. Can't believe we turned this around within the span of 10 minutes. This game also heavily tested my skills in using Blitz; I started to figure out the many things I could use and abuse on Blitz to benefit my team; it helped a lot during teamfights.

Oh and...Orianna too good as a minion farmer on top of her excellent support abilities.
Corn Wrote:Heimerdinger is labeled as "Support" for a reason =P.

Then he's UP, there's someone better at everything he does.
Want split pushing? Take teemo, or singed.
Want Poking? Take corki
Want good support? Go sona/soraka/janna

Maybe I really don't know his role since I mained him when I was like 10-15 or something and there he seemed like AP carry.
Well, no one can beat him at defending towers.

Best way to build him are 1-2 support items and generally AP items.
Heimer pushes a lane and prevents a lane from being pushed.
