Doctor Who Mafia Game Thread: Day 9

Synthesist died.



Night 5 will end at 7 pm.

Ok this rules Synthesist as a mafia... But with a terrible price... I just wanted to get some voting done since people seems inactive and a random kill could prove fatal to oneself or the town since its obviously the town have more people than the mob.

Night 5 ends now:

The Doctor looked around, concerned another unfortunate person might have passed away in the night, but it seemed that they were all safe. Though he mourned Amy Pond's passing, he had resolved himself to uncover who was behind this once and for all.

"It seems, my friends, that we have come to a crossroads of sorts. The death of Amy Pond appears to have started something. I'm not sure what exactly, just that the Tardis appears set to take all of us with us somewhere . . . all but one of us that is. It cannot be reasoned with, and will pick as it sees fit when it comes to who shall be left behind in the cold of space. So today, we will vote for the one person that will be assured a place on board. Today is a vote for safety. Choose only the person you think is necessary to our survival, and I pray you all not be silent on this important occasion, or soon enough we may all be doomed."

Day 6 begins now and endsd at 8pm Est. tomorrow.

So a day to ensure the safety of one of us...It seems a little unfair that I can't even vote to ensure my own safety...then again ensuring my own safety mean sending someone to their doom...*keeps on talking*

Anyways...dantee9898 was attempting to recruit Nalek into his evil army or something last night...

I feel like I forgot something...just vote carefully.

You are the Alliance, the forces against the Doctor. In order to stop him from destroying the universe, you decide to lock him up in the Pandorica, the ultimate prison. The problem is, there’s nobody in the Alliance yet so you have to recruit people. At night, PM Holypie or ElectricSix with “Night X – Recruit USER”. When you successfully recruit the ______, the ______, the _________ and the _______ _____________, you and all members of the Alliance will win. You can only attempt to recruit 5 times but you may also PM ElecticSix or Holypie with “Day X – Check USER” and you will find their win condition. Additionally you are immune to death until you successfully recruit a member to the alliance.

Night ends at 8:00 PM tomorrow. Have fun!

Day 7 dawns upon the group of travelers as the TARDIS lands.

"It seems that we have arrived to the destination that the TARDIS felt that we needed to be at. Be careful, since we don't know what's out there and the killer is still on the loose."

As the Doctor opened the TARDIS doors the whole group gasped as they stared into the Medusa Cascade.

"Be very, very careful here. The last time I was here Davros was about to detonate the reality bomb which would have silenced all of reality. Control yourselves today. The Medusa Cascade also holds very strange effects."

Nobody died, I couldn't think of a way to work that in. Also the meaning of the Medusa Cascade will be revealed soon...

Day 7 ends at 8 PM EST tomorrow.

Day 7 ends now:

There was very little discussion going on, but eventually someone hesistantly suggested TheBirds. However, they were curiously absent from the rest of the group. The Doctor was concerned, but not unduly so until he noticed a few pieces missing from the Tardis' control panel.

"We must find him quickly before it's too late!"

The rest of the group looked for TheBirds, but the Doctor was the first one to find him. He was Father Octavian, a townie doctor.

Dear TheBirds:

You are Father Octavian, the leader of a militarized group of clerics. Being the skilled fighter that you are, you may protect one person each night from any and all kills. PM Holypie or ElectricSix with “Night X – Guard USER” and the user will not die that night. You may not use this ability on yourself and you may only use it on odd nights. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated.

It seemed he had stumbled upon someone in the midst of building a reality bomb before being killed. Luckily it appeared to have happened before it was complete, allowing the Doctor to quickly render it unusable.

"It would seem that TheBirds was not an enemy at all. We grow fewer and fewer, so we must make tomorrow count, unfortunately it appears we remain stuck in the Medusa Cascade for the moment. So while I try to repair the Tardis' control panel, be on the lookout for any other suspicious things while we're still here. If a reailty bomb is unleashed, it will be the end of us, and the universe."

Day 8 ends at 8 pm tomorrow and nobody died. Yaaaay. Talk more, the silence is killing me.

Alright, let's see if we can wrap this up. We know the following right off the bat: going purely off his own statements, Corn's the Nestene Consciousness. As it's part of the Alliance, he's a neutral.

Now, I'll present my role and what I've done, so let's see if we can decide upon who to vote for. I am Amelia Pond. My ability is to, on even-numbered nights (though starting last night, any night), take someone into my house. They cannot be acted upon, but they cannot act either. I targeted these people:

Night 0: Shidoshi
Night 2: TheBirds
Night 4: Nalek
Night 6: Corn
Night 7: Cookie

I trust (though not completely) Yoshi, CJ, and Nalek. I do not know about Cookie or Solarboy. Cookie may be the killer, as there was no death last night, but it's also possible that he was the killer's target.
