Summer is coming up, if it hasn't already started for most of you.

So what are your plans to do this summer?

Well, hopefully working at Northeastern University for the summer. I had a phone interview this morning, which was mostly a quiz on computer and network features to test how well i know computers. Fortunately, I did well enough to earn a face-to-face interview. The interviewer also told me that out of all the applicants so far, I scored the 3rd best, and he's ~halfway through the applicants, so I think there's a good chance I'll be in the 10-15 that get jobs. If I do get it, I'll move in a week earlier and help people get their internet working while they move in. I also want to go more Friday Night Magics, play D&D with some friends, and try to do a Let's Play of Pikmin 2.

Working through the whole summer. I already took my vacation early.
I may still get to travel for work purposes plus I have three projects in the works.

Work is my life. Working full time in retail, but at least making money to fund school + personal things like no other.

Aside from work the plan is to work out a lot and turn my spare tire into a swimmer/dancer midsection, but alas work hours are preventing this dream from taking off, so I'm rather angered (and will be making an Angry Dome post in a bit).

Beyond all that hang out with friends a lot more since we all have time now to spend with one another.

I'm pretty much working full time. Besides that, I got a few trips planned and a few Saturday shows booked for my band.

Well I graduated with my Associates from Durham Tech the 18th and now the internship I had at UL has turned into a full-time job. Also, I'm teaching two classes at that same school temporarily. Life's awesome man.

Working 4th of July. Going to Evo 2011 in Las Vegas.

Other than that not much. It's nice to have a boring life. Smile

Haven't you passed up the opportunity like, three times?

I plan to play video games and have around a week where I'll feel like I'm stoned out of my mind because I thought about leaving home and leaving the public school system.

Work preoccupies most of my life right now, but some things that I hope to accomplish are:
1.) Get my wedding all planned out.
2.) To own a house by the end of summer.
3.) Take a couple courses over the summer to try as to not inevitably fall behind in the fall semester.

The first thing is the only one I'm really excited for. The buying a house has become such a burden as of late as I am completely inexperiences in this area of life and don't really know what I'm doing. Trying not to just dive into it completely ignorant of the little idiosyncrasies that come along with buying a home, and don't know if I'm really going to have the time to commit to making a house into a home for my fiancée and myself. I think for now I'm just going to keep reading and listening to what the people around me have to say on the matter. As for college, with work and everything else that has been going on, school has most definitely been put on the back-burner these past six months. My job demands most of my time, and any spare time I'd like to spend with my fiancee, so when I think about signing up for classes I'm always battling myself on the inside as to whether or not I should. Unfortunately the reality is there is no guarantees in life. And while yes, I am making excellent money now, that might not always be there for me and I need some solid backing in the event that something drastic changes.

Phew, glad I got all of that off of my mind.
