Doctor Who Mafia Game Thread: Day 9

Night 3 has ended.

Everyone gathered in the morning, and surprisingly the only one missing was the Doctor. At first, there was some concern that he may have been the on targeted by the killer, but he showed up unharmed a few minutes later, which meant no one died last night.

"Everyone's here? I'm sure that most of you think that means we are safe from harm, but after I looked into the death of octopusprime, I can say that we clearly have at least one more killer among us. It seems we must again decide whom is the most untrustworthy amongst us, hard as it is for me to deny that yesterday was the first successful day we've had at catching anyone. Still, for now at least, let us vote and decide whom among us is most likely the other killer."

Day 4 begins now, and ends at 7pm Est. tomorrow. Result pms will be sent out shortly, hopefully not duplicated since I'm 99% sure Pie is afk atm.

After a lengthy day of absolute silence, the Doctor decided enough was enough, if everyone else couldn't decide, then he would do it. He closed his eyes, and spun around at random, stopping and pointing a finger blindly at someone.

"It seems to me that the most suspicious one among us is Mute."

Before he could say anything more, the remaining people jumped upon Mute, destroying his remaining powercells in their fury, and leaving him an empty shell. Mute was a representative of the Daleks, a neutral killer.

Dear Mute:

You are the Daleks, The Doctor’s most hated enemies. Unfortunately, your last scuffle with the lone Time Lord has left you quite crippled and you need The Doctor’s testimony in order to activate the Progenitor. You can do this by getting The Doctor to roleclaim. Once this occurs the Progenitor will activate and unleash a New Dalek Paradigm. You’re still not without your fierce weaponry though, at night you may PM Holypie or ElectricSix with “Night X – Deathray TARGET” and the target will die. You only have 5 power cells remaining so you can only use your deathray 5 times. Additionally, you have a one use shield that will protect you from a night kill but it also uses a power cell. You win if you unleash the New Dalek Paradigm and fulfill the win conditions of that role.

"It seems we have found the one who exterminated octopusprime. I should probably scold you all for your anger, but the Daleks are not to be trusted. If given a chance, he might have exterminated more of you, and we have already lost far too many. Perhaps now we can have another peaceful night. Let us adjorn until tomorrow, for I still have a sense of dread about something."

Night 4 begins now and ends at 7pm Est. tomorrow. Try to be a bit more active people.

I found out that Corn was trying to duplicate Solarboy during the night. I am not sure what that means.

If it is something dangerous go for him, if not I would say Dante9898 with his soft 3rd party claim or the active but non-posting z0mgc00k13/Synthesist would be today's target.

To me it just doesn't seem like TheBirds is someone who can kill, although it doesn't mean he isn't mafia/neutral. I personally would choose z0mgc00k13/Synthesist as today's lynch...but the inactivity on voting will probably force another random kill.

I wasn't sure if your ability to duplicate was dangerous or something. I was more or less throwing it out there to someone who may know more about it.

That's probably unrelated to mine, as I Duplicated you Night 1.

Of course I'm screwed if TheBirds decides to be a bastard and says that something happened to her the night after I duplicated her.

You are now travelling with him but got lost and now must assist him. You are married to Rory Williams and may talk with him privately at any time. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated.

Night 5 will end at 7 pm.

After a long night, the Doctor checked, but it seemed that no one had died.

"Excellent, excellent. Now about that thing I was talking about before. It would seem we have one more killer on the loose, or perhaps more than one, someone in the shadows, watching in silence as we do their bidding unknowingly. Thus, we must once more attempt to find the untrustworthy person among us. I pray we make the right decision today."

Day 5 ends now:

There was some discussion, and one last minute vote, but in the end, it seemed that it was tied between Synthesist and dante9898. The rest of the group couldn't decide between them, and so once more they looked to the Doctor for his decision. As before, he closed his eyes and spun around, eventually point at Synthesist.

"She is . . ."

However, the remaining people could not contain their anger . . . or perhaps someone else was inciting them to this act, but they killed Synthesist before the Doctor could say anything more.

"That was Amy Pond you fools! I was going to say she can't be the one."

The Doctor seemed emotionally overcome, but he pulled himself together for the sake of the remaining people.

"I am done with you all for the day. We will meet back here tomorrow, but things will be a bit different. For now though, I will go and mourn my friend, the rest of you leave . . . NOW!"
