So I am a lvl 24 magic knight. Is there any prep I should do for lvl 32? Like start looking for elshards and equips?

Find full Red Rock Chief's set, then find Elshards. Light and Wind/Water Elshards would be the best for you, and if possible, go for a dual enchant.

I prefer Dark/Wind myself for Elsword but thats my opinion.

Dark, Ice, and Light are the best enchants for MK / RS, but Dark and Light as rather expensive as hell.

Dark is nice as well, yeah.

I wouldn't mind getting a dual enchant if it didn't take so many shards x_X

Alright Elpeeps, prepare the welcome wagons. The Ponggos are coming! Our newest patch will open up the mysterious Altera Island and with it, 4 new dungeons, 34 new quests and 2 new titles to work on. We’re also increasing the maximum level cap from Level 32 to Level 36, so you can finally unlock those major skills. You may need them to explore the Ponggo’s mines.

A Silent Tribute to the Fallen Soldiers
Event period: 05/25/2011 – 06/07/2011

Memorial Day is a time of remembrance and to honor those that have given nothing less than everything to protect us. Show your appreciation by dedicating a flower to their memory. All players will receive 1 decorative mums flower per character per day via in-game mail. Right click on the decorative mum to dedicate it to our fallen heroes. Help us reach the goal of 65,000 dedicated decorative mum flowers in a show of solidarity and gratitude. The running tally of dedications will be displayed on our website throughout the event period, and if the goal is met, we’re setting up a 2X Drop Rate and Unlimited Stamina Event in the next client patch to reward your efforts. Be sure to tell all your friends. Every dedication counts!

Operation: Rescue Ponggo Soldiers!
Event period: 05/25/2011 – 06/07/2011

No man, woman or Ponggo gets left behind. Complete these one-time quests to rescue injured Ponggo soldiers in the yet uncharted Altera Island dungeons. Talk to Adel or check the Board to start the quests. Bring the troops into party mode to clear the dungeons faster and earn a medal. (Right click on a medal reward to unlock the title.)

The hunt for Crude El Ore begins! Chat with Ariel or check the Board in Altera Island to participate in this quest. Enter any dungeon (except Ruben Village) to find Crude El Ores, then go to Helen to exchange them for El’s Essence. Once you’ve collected enough El’s Essence, bring them to Ariel and craft a Stellar Crown.

Oh, well. I'll clear those Altera dungeons eventually. I've already done them on the JP version, so at least I'm not really missing out. lol

It absolutely does. I haven't logged in in a couple weeks due to lack of content. Glad there's finally more.

Tell me about it. I couldn't even come to my senses to hit 32, I stopped the second I hit 31, because that was when I got the full Miner set.
