Great Character Designs

Yeah. Can we have one of these? You know. Characters in a game that are like sooooooo cool.

So yeah. Check out this guy:



He's pretty neat. He's a side boss in Skies of Arcadia (Sorry, going through a SoA phase right now.) and he doesn't even say anything. Just kicks your ass. One of my favorite characters and yet, you only see him for one battle. >:

He's in a Mexican poncho, wearing an African horn necklaces, with what looks like dutch clogging shoes, a flap hat decorated with the eye of horus (or maybe the eye from the yugioh pyrimid), purple bladed claws attached to a turtle shell sheild (which are worthless by the way, any thrust with your average sword renders them useless because of the difference in length), and oversize purple shuricans(?).

Then again this is a japan port, so terrible and impractical cloths design is fairly common.

Uh, Mark is right. Compared to a lot of the garbage character designs (thanks Nomura) that guy is really interesting. I like his claw shield.

Still one of my absolute favorites to this day. One of the few male characters to truly captivate me, and I can't even quite put my finger on why. But god, it's FELIX. It was love at first sight. Golden Sun totally has several amazing character designs, though. Need I even mention Jenna, Alex and Menardi?

Dat eyepatch. Dat hairstyle. She's simple but oh so sexy. Maybe it's her story, maybe it's how she feels so human or maybe it's how she can actually kick butt that really defines her, I dunno. But I'm in love. And hell, I gotta represent the best game ever.

I'd include Luka Megurine, too, but she's not really from any game. Still my favorite character design in the world. For all of history. She's beautiful.

felix is real boss, it's probably the fact that he barely even talked for two straight games.

Been on a real Atlus kick lately. Specifically, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. I dunno why, but the main character is fascinating to me.

Hmph! You just aren't smart enough to realize the genius and the creativeness of zippers everywhere! I pity you.

All that Nomura hasn't done is put zippers on his zippers, but it's only a matter of time.

Looks like some Indian street vendor to me. Only thing I find cool is the hand, but it isn't that unique.
