Wow we found a mafia already? The person who targeted me tried to do something bad to me...not just an investigation

Well, my ability is DUEL - wasn't told much about what else it does. When I targeted TheBirds, the flavor I got back was:
"You violently duel TheBirds."

Meaning he was a powerful opponent. I'm not sure what else DUEL does - I wasn't given any other clarification about it. :/

Okay...I am going to say it. I am confused. Tell me I got this right.

Mute was targeted by the mafia.

That means that there are 4 powerful and dangerous mafias. It would be correct, but...I don't know about TheBirds being mafia.

Technically, there could be only 3 powerful and dangerous mafias by your actions. One would target you, the other would target Mute (heck, those 2 could belong to the same person) and the last would be TheBirds. They would all agree to kill octopusprime. And I suppose you've been suspecting that I'm mafia due to my aggressive play recently, but quite frankly, unless we get some mafia soon we're screwed. We're down 5 people, 2 of them detectives.

I think we both agree that TheBirds and/or NJNR are more suspicious than I am, though.

I'm not roleclaiming detective (did I ever say I was?). I just said that I received information that TheBirds was powerful due to the duel I had with them. And yea, I've had bad luck with my night actions - it happens. :/

Well, it's basically confirmed by 2 people that TheBirds is the one who is muting Nalek and forcing him to vote for DualReaver all of these days. I guess that makes DualReaver innocent if TheBirds is mafia.

Just letting everyone know that I'm here, but due to the nature of the day, the results/flavor may take a bit since I'm still waiting. Also, here's the flavor for last night:

Night 2 Ends:

The significantly smaller group agreed to meet up in the control room, ready to venture out into the Starship UK. Only they notice that there are missing some people. The Doctor arrives shortly after they have gathered, entering from the door leading outside.

"It seems we need to find a new Queen for Starship UK today . . . wait, isn't someone missing?"

A quick search revealed that octopusprime was missing. Shortly thereafter, they discovered his corpse nearby. He was Dr. Nasreen Chaudry, a vanilla townie. It seems she was EXTERMINATED.

Dear octopusprime:

You are Doctor Nasreen Chaudry, the person in charge of a large scale drilling operation in the Welsh town of Cwmtaff. Other than operating a giant drill you don’t do much though. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated.

"Things are very dire now. More than ever we must find the culprit before any more innocent lives are lost. Hmm . . . finding a new queen . . . ahah! It seems having the group decide who is the most suspicious is a bad idea. Sooooo, the obvious solution is to have the most trustworthy decide it. Thus, today we shall be voting for whom you think is the most trustworthy among us. They shall be the ones we listen to today."

Day 3 begins now . . . well it would have as far as the flavor goes anyway, even though it's a bit late to say it's started. XP

After some discussion, and very little voting, it seemed there was a 3 way tie. At first no one was sure who would win in that sort of situation, but the Doctor stepped in and made it easy.

"ChaoticCJ shall be the one that decides today."

After some careful deliberation, ChaoticCJ pointed at a person. They quickly swarmed him, and rather unfortunately, lynched him before he could say anything. He was NoJobNoRules, a proud representative of the Sontaran race and a neutral killer.

You are the Sontarans, a battle hungry race. Your society is extremely militaristic and loves war. After you failed to turn the Earth into a clone breeding ground you have decided to exact revenge by waging war against everything. PM Holypie or ElectricSix with “Night X – Kill TARGET”. The target will die but you can only use this ability on even nights. Additionally you may duel one person each night, one on one. PM Holypie or ElectricSix with “Night X – Duel TARGET”. You will send notification of a duel to said target, the results will be decided upon at a later time though you can only duel on odd nights. You win if you win the war (by killing every other player).

"Finally, it seems we have found the one who has been killing us . . . though I admit I'm not sure he was the only one, especially after last night's kill. Nor do I approve of his death by your stained hands, but for once, perhaps we can spend the night sleeping peacefully. We shall adjourn, and continue our discussion tomorrow. Let us hope he was the only killer and that we may return to our respective times tomorrow."

No, as I mentioned, my power went out, and as I wasn't able to get in touch with Pie, so while he started the night, it was without flavor. I decided to wait and just post the previous night's flavor with yesterday's flavor. Make sense now?
