Can we launch religious nuts into the sun yet? Or is that considered "too mean"?

This is starting to lose its humor... and becoming plainly annoying.

If I keep predicting that the rapture will be "tomorrow" everyday, I'll be right sooner or later!

This nonsense is getting ridiculous. By trying to predict the second coming of Christ, he is blatantly disregarding the word of God; in fact, he is basically trying to disprove it. Why do I say this? It's written in the article (the Bible quote).

He ain't a real Christian, if you ask me.

Okay, arguing from Camp's perspective here.

Matthew 24 is important. Don't get me wrong. However, you are failing to notice the facts from Genesis which states that 1 day is 1000 years. By doing the math, we can clearly see that something will happen on October 21. Have you read any of my research on the matter?

"No one knows the day nor the hour" - well, that much is true. But how can the Bible be wrong? You can't equally say that Matthew 24 is correct and also throw out that 1 day is 1000 years. Do the math, and you will find the truth. Be prepared for October 21.

ehhh that's in 2nd peter and it's a massive stretch to take that in any sort of literal sense. 2 peter 3:8. And after skimming the chapter really fast, everything up to verse 10 in that passage is too relevant to just leave off. The passage goes on to basically say the same thing as the passage in Matthew about no one knowing the day or the hour.

Relevant text:

 Spoiler

I really don't see that as a way to measure time but more as time is not the same to God as it is to man. If this isn't the verse you're talking about then i don't think what you are talking about is in genesis... The word thousand appears two or three times according to the translation and the number doesn't appear at all.

Ok, those guys are being extra annoying lately.

There's a youtube ad of around 15 minutes saying all their crap.

They even added Argelia's, Yemen's, Egypt's protests as reasons... What... The... Hell...
