Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread
Lmao I'm dumb. I hadn't logged in and thought it was Monday and mobafire didn't have it posted yet. Derpityderp.
Multiple mastery pages are amazing.
When will they do what they did to kog's q to kass' w?
Well damn. I tried Amumu and he's a pretty fun dude to play.
I thought I'd never see it, but people are bitching about Annie being "OP" now. LOLWUT!?

Had 2 Annies in my last game, neither one seemed OP to me. I guess I didn't lane against or with either so i can't say for sure, but it seemed like she was relatively the same.
I already hated Tibbers and I still hate Tibbers. That's about it.

Kass is already amazing. Kog was lackluster compared to many carries.

He is indeed one of the best tanks in the game, hands down (he has a stun/initiation skill, and a teamfight-killer AoE snare as his ult). But do note that you will be the first into the line of fire; tanking is not something I would take lightly. It does require a lot of skill and know-how to use him correctly.

And also...he's a very good jungler. I jungle with him whenever I play Amumu, and he levels better jungling than laning, IMO. Never went back to laning with the little mummy after I mastered jungling with him.

Don't try jungling on him without runes, as it's extremely hard X_X.
KajitiSouls Wrote:Or you're playing with bad people. Not saying I know for sure, so I went ahead and did some sampling with Fraps at 30 fps.

Veigar's Dark Matter25011.35s11.68s13.08s0.30s1.40sUnless your fps sucks and your effects settings is low, you mind as well erect a radio mast saying "I'ma bomb this spot lololol". Veigar does have a stun though.
Kog'Maw's Live Artillery25018.00s18.30s19.27s0.30s0.95sA combination of Veigar's target visibility, cast time, and Cho's damage latency. Works well if you can land your Void Ooze on the target first.

Personally, I'm under the assumption that if you can land your shots with Cho and Kog perfectly, they're unavoidable. In practice, Cho's Rupture seems to be easier to land in spite of the cast time. It's partly because the other person is taking a little more time trying to identify the center of effect and take action accordingly, whereas with Dark Matter and Live Artillery, the center of effect is clearly marked with a fking streak in the sky.

Old news is old. Riot delivered a Mecha-riding Yordle as per community demands. That is all.

I guess I played scrubs for ~100 games as kog, then. Hurr. Not once have I found my ulti useless or not useful enough.
Anyone complaining about Annie in laning phase right now is silly, seeing as her early game was actually weakened up to the point of when she reaches around 100 AP.

Doesn't change the fact it's a virtually useless spell.
And I did fine as kog with the Q as it was, they didn't really change too much that would affect his carrying

And why is everyone complaining about panth being UP? I do just fine as him. He is a very balanced character.

Carrying with kog is only easy if you don't get shut down, and he's pretty damn easy to shut down. He had no way of harassing other than R and as we all know that's not always reliable.
Again, Kog's q have aspd and was a higher priority than E for the most part.

Kog was pretty lackluster compared to other carries, where as kass is already on the same level, and better than some ap carries. Doesn't matter if his W is garbage. If it was something actually usable it'd pretty much make him OP unless they reworked his other skills as well.

Hey, hey, kog's e is really good at harassing, and if it hits your next r lands without fail. His e is also his escape method, and chasing method. I ALWAYS max e first.
But whatever, different playstyles and all that.

Also, about the kass w thing, I was just saying because the problem they gave with kog's q was that he dealt mostly magic damage, so the armor reduction was useless. This is the same problem kass' w has. Thats all i'm sayin'.

You're building AP on him.

You're doing it wrong.
 One game for today

The other team was quite lackluster and uncoordinated. Though the Mundo on the other team tried to counter-jungle me early on, in which he did kill me after I took out the Elder Lizard, but he got killed by the Vayne on my team. Despite the fact I lost my double red and blue buff, at least one of my teammates snatched it back. After I respawned, I still waddled through the jungle and continued what I was doing, though difficult since I lost my jungle buffs.

After I got to 6 without blue buff, I started conducting ganks. Eventually, my role was helping my teammates dominate in teamfights, which worked out very nicely. Bottom got fed a bit (dunno what that enemy Annie is thinking, but OK whatever, that's her problem). I went on a 5 kill streak, and got fed a bit. We were ahead with a good number of total kills that the other team decided to call it quits at 20 minute mark.

He builds AP to go anti-squishy and attack speed in all other cases.
>Pineapple' Wrote:You're building AP on him.

What? lol.
I don't go ap on kog, but I do get malady, so I start with amplifying tome. Its pretty strong.
Edit: I just don't think that the attack speed from q is very usefull untill you actually get some proc items, I'd rather harass better and farm better early on, and grab my q when I have my madred's and malady. Also once you hit ~50 ap you get +1% on your w.

Also, In related news, im pretty sure kassadin can get over 180 armour penetration, making it possible to (maybe) crash the game when your opponent has exactly -100 armour.
Because I'm pretty sure the calculation is 100 - (1000/(100+armour)) as a percentage.

RoA and Archangel's for whatever reason.
