So, earlier I found a scorpion in my sink and doing the normal thing I do whenever a pest is in my sink I started spraying it with water from the little sprayer thingy on the sink. However this little guy didn't feel like dying apparently, after about 10 seconds of spraying it I stopped, only for it to start running around the sink and trying to climb out and it might have done it if it was not for the fact that the sink was wet and tall. So I continue to spray it, and continue to spray it, and continue to spray it and all the while it never even flinched and kept trying to escape, so I remove the little catcher thing and washed him down the sink ending his tale.
I guess so this topic isn't a complete waste that other people can share their stories of pests that just wouldn't give up.

I've never seen a scorpion in real life outside of pet shops or science museums. :<

It's just a scorpion. What's it going to do? Rob you? Grab a knife and kill you?
If it were me, I'd capture it in something and let it go outside. lol

Then I would have scorpion guts in my sink and would have to clean them up. Washing it down the drain was the cleanest way to do it.

I haven't encountered a scorpion in a long time.
What I really hate are those thumb-size flying cockroaches, those are some of the hardest things to kill and sometimes try to strike back. Their usually found on the wall, just standing there, waiting for you to kill them, ready to ambush you as soon as you approach them with a flyswatter or shoe. When you pull back your weapon, ready to crush them they sense it fly right at you, most of the time aiming at your face, I imagine they scream "You'll never take me alive!"
Also, those pesky mosquitoes that fly near your ear in the middle of the night, while you're trying to sleep. You swing around your arms, trying to strike it, but you'll most likely not succeed.

Maybe it's still alive at the bottom of your sink, and will find a way to crawl back out, and haunt your washroom once more.

Scorpions can be hard to grab a hold of to release. Not as bad as motherf'ucking centipedes though. Them little bastards are always wiggling around nearly getting on your hand and s'hit.

Back in Oregon, we found a scorpion in our kitchen. My mom was FREAKED THE pineapple OUT by it (note: she's NEVER frightened of bugs/etc). Our cat was playing with it in the semi-dark hallway. Sooner or later, we realized what it was and somehow chased it under the fridge. That led to us using a paper plate and a paper bowl and mom caught it and threw all of it outside. Fun times.

This made my day xD
I often think that when i try to get a bug.
And do you know those wasps who fly in one spot? Looking at you?
When you try to get them they are so freaking fast it looks like they go through your hand because they're still in that one spot!!

I read somewhere that flies are unable to multitask, so if it perceives multiple dangers from different directions, its brain will overload and it will be stunned.
Never had a chance to try it, but I thought it was cool.

Scorpions, eh?
Numero uno: Sister had a baby one in her bathroom. Thing was f'ucking fast, but eventually we killed it.
Numero dos: Putting on a shirt and a scorpion falls out, and then crawls somewhere safe. Kill it later that night because I wasn't about to fall asleep with it still alive.
Numero tres: Same scenario as above, but happened to my mom.
Good times.

my way of dealing with EVERY bug:
that scorpion would have been roasted, THEN washed. done the same crap with cockroaches and spiders too, but i don't kill spiders very often cause they are pretty cool (even if they scare the pomegranate out of me)
