Is it worth getting level 80-90 Lord Pirate Hat?

As title.

Is it worth to do it?

I mean.. 40 PQs for level 60 one? Ok.

80 PQs for level 70 one? err.. well.. ok.

200 PQs for level 80 one?!?!? Argh!

350 PQs for level 90 one?!?!? OMG!!!

I think the requirements for the level 80 and 90 Lord Pirate Hats are a bit too high.. I mean.. it'd take months.. at least for me, because I don't play often.. but for an average Mapler it would take at least 2-3 weeks.. maybe less, who knows.

What do you think? IS it worth to get the level 80-90 Lord Pirate Hats?

P.s.: Yeah, I could buy a Zhelm. I actually HAVE the money to buy it, but I don't like the idea of "buying it". I would rather be a "noob with low damage" until lvl 120+ and get the helm for free, in a normal Zrun. Or maybe getting it for free thanks to the help of some friends..

Fact is, I like quests (even if they're hard). I actually understand that the quest is really difficult, but I want to do it pretty much.. but I also know it's going to be very hard. D:

I think the PQ count is too low. The hat should be given to really devoted players since it looks so good and it's the second best hat in the game so far. I like it better when the count was 50/150/300/500.

I got my pirate hat anyway, even with my zhelm. I like how it looks and it's red, which matches my archer's equips =D

The pq number got lowered while i was doing it, so i was at around 300 when the new requirements came in. Compared to before, this was nothing. I'm glad i got it as it was a challenge and it was significant to my story in this game. I can also use it for when i need some hp with a decent defense stat.=P

I originally had every intention of doing it... Once I got to 50 and got the first one, I said screw it.. it's not worth it.

So now I'm using my level 100 archer hat until I can hit 120 and go zakuming

Got my lvl 90 one and I am glad I did it. I was around 337 when then did the change and I was still aiming to do 500 for it at the time. Needless to say the change was gladly accepted. Also, now and days I see many more people with the lvl 90 one running around that the few that finished it just before me with the 500 requirement. I believe it is because, not only did they lower the number of PQs to be completed, they made the pq tons and tons easier to complete with somewhat larger rewards. They took out the immunity buffs that several monsters had, they lowered the monster hp, and believe it or not, they increased each monster's exp (yes, it was lower than it is now. Insane right?).

It really is not that hard to do despite the fact that it takes some time. Mine took me about 6 months to get I think and most of it was done before the change in the overall PQ (Note, the Mortal Blow glitch was also going on for much of that time so I often D/Ced at the boss...)

I has another bonus of speed, jump, and hp on top of it being a decent hat that you earned through effort that no-one else can show for simply buying a hat so I believe if you are up for the challenge, go for it.

And even if you have a zakum helmet, it's still a fantastic hp gear for critical moments, since scrolled with 100%s, you get 125 hp, no matter what.

Also, if Monster book comes, it's a great excuse to get Lord Pirate's card :p

I did a total of 482 PQs. I had 481 PQs before the damn patch, then I find out that the count had been lowered, I just got 2 other people (I think they were really weak), didn't care about them and just blazed through the PQ. It would've made me a bit happier, if I had the entire 500 PQs.

I think you should go ahead with it, if you really wanted it. I use it all the time, don't have a ZHelm and don't want one, because that pomegranate looks butt-ugly.

YES! I think exactly the same, but I'll get a zakum helmet eventually, just not rushing. Of course, NEVER dropping my pirate hat.

When I get to the point that I can PPQ, I will do everything associated with it.

If you an item collector then it is worth it. If I wasnt to high a level and was able to do it I would have.

It depends. Do you like the look of the hat? Do you like its bonuses? Are you willing to go through 350 PPQs for it? Will you stop using it right when you get your Zhelm?

You can just get to be unique and if you want to show off. Everyone and their grandmother has a Zakum helm these days.

IMO, waste of time. zhelms are more readily available.
