We had a tornado warning over in Greenwood, just south of Indianapolis. The rain and wind stopped after an hour or so though. All that excitement for nothing...

FYI, Tornado Warnings don't mean that there is actually a tornado going to happen, or that one has touched down. It just means that it's very likely for them to spawn. What you want to look out for are tornado sirens (though I don't know if they have them where you are). If they don't, and even if they do you want to check a weather site (National Weather Service or Intellicast are good ones) to see if the warnings stem from actual sightings or just that they may form.

It's best to get information regarding storms like the ones out there now straight from the National Weather Service, because a lot of it given out by local news stations is blown out of proportion. If you can't or don't want to check through the internet, weather radios are always good.
