Well for instance, the Amherst section only has 9 threads when I view the section but it says there are 1.6k threads o.O

Probably has something to do with the "necro-posting" limit, although I have no idea; threads get deleted after some arbitrary time period, possibly.

Wouldn't be able to tell you for sure, but I only see 9 threads as well.

And also the Training Center doesn't seem to be showing any threads as well.
Like if I were to go into the Magician section, there is only 3 stickies and no other threads

Click on Forum Actions at the top > Click on General Settings > Scroll down until 'Thread Display Options' > Set 'Default Thread Age Cut Off' to 'Show All Threads'.

You can also set 'Number of Posts to Show Per Page' to 40 for the best forum experience.
