Doctor Who Mafia Game Thread: Day 9

Night 0:

Somewhere, among time and space, a meeting of destiny began with a rather loud crash. It just so happened to be Leadworth England, a small town far from the hubbub. Living there was Amelia Pond, a little girl all alone in a large house. It was night time, but that didn't bother her, as whatever fear she made have had was far outweighed by her curiousity. When she ventured outside, she was rather surprised to see a Police Box on it’s side, and a strange man climbing out from it, albeit struggling a bit.

“Who are you?”

“I‘m the Doctor.”

“Doctor who?”

However, before he could answer, the police box began to flash. The man dropped back inside it, saying all sorts of strange things. Amelia Pond decided to see what was going on inside, only to discover that the inside was far larger than the outside. Shocked, she fell inside it and the door closed on it’s own. It seems the Tardis was going to take them someplace interesting.

Elsewhere in the universe, a call went out. It seemed that someone incredibly dangerous was going to destroy time and space. All the advanced races heard the call, and began making their way to a secret meeting place to discuss this menace. However, they did not want to risk discovery before they could do anything, and agreed to meet in disguise, near the one person in the universe who might be able to stop that evil figure from destroying time and space . . . at least they hoped he would be able to do so.

And so, the Tardis arrived at it’s destination of Leadworth, only twelve years later than when the Doctor had arrived. Of course he was rather concerned about Amelia Pond having joined him, but the Tardis was well and truly broken for the moment, and he deemed it far safer to have her join him than leave her within it when it might wander about through time and space again.

As the Doctor move around the town with Amelia, he couldn’t help but feel something was off. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but there was definitely something sinister in the air, and he was going to get to the bottom of it . . . But that would have to wait for the day. Day 1 to be precise.

Night 0 ends at 6pm Est. tomorrow.

Also, for those of you who don’t know much about Doctor Who, this game is mostly based around Season 5 . . . mostly based. ;P So once more, here’s a link to the Wiki and wikipedia. It'd probably be wise to read up some or find some episodes to watch and learn something of them.

 Rules

1- Every player has been assigned a role. Posting your role PM or a screenshot of any conversation related to the game is grounds for an automatic godkill.

2- The game rounds will cycle between day and night and will continue until one side is declared the winner.

3- The game will begin on Night 0. Certain abilities may not work on Night 0. Lynching will begin on Day 1.

4- All votes must be bolded. If you wish to remove a vote, unbold your previous vote. In the event that a vote ends in a tie, there will be no lynch for that day. If someone has two votes bolded, the first vote applies. If no one votes, a random person will be lynched.

5- The option of "no-lynch" will be an acceptable form of voting during the day period and will result in no lynch that day period. It counts as a player, in that if it gets majority or has the most votes at the end of the day, it happens.

6- The IRC is limited strictly to role PMs that specifically grant permission to use it, whom will be provided access to a channel for planning and discussion. Players are otherwise prohibited from discussing the game in the IRC. Players using the IRC to privately communicate are advised to not behave weirdly in the normal Southperry IRC channel.

7- Players may not communicate with each other privately about the game, unless they are specifically told they are allowed. If you are dead, you are not allowed to post in the gameplay thread. There will be a discussion thread that all players are allowed to talk in, dead or otherwise. Dead players are forcefully advised not to comment in a way that affects gameplay.

8- Character/player alignment and priority will not be revealed by the host until a player is killed, where their role and alignment will be revealed. Hidden abilities will not be revealed to anyone until the game ends. Yes there are hidden abilities and yes, they are fun. Just to keep you people on your toes =P

9- If you have any questions about your role, or about the game, or have any comments/concerns, you may PM me or message me on the Southperry IRC.

10- Do not take screenshots of stuff in the game. I consider this to be the most important rule.

11- If anyone breaks any of these rules, that person will be killed by me or ElectricSix.

12- Flavor posting is not required but is highly encouraged.

13- Actions should be sent to both ElectricSix and I. Either BCC it to one of us or add one of us as a second recipient.

14- I can add any rule as I deem necessary to balance the game due to unforseen issues.

15- Everyone must post in a british accent.

Yeah, just wanted to get the thread up and running. <.< I'm impatiently wanting to flavor this game up as best as I can. XP

7pm Est. and Night 0 has officially started, all the role pms should be out now. If you have any questions or other concerns, feel free to pm or find us on irc.

To make things clear, days and nights will be spaced a little differently than usual. Day and nights will run on 23 hours, with an hour reprieve between them.

So, for example, Night 0 will end at 6pm Est. tomorrow while Day 1 starts at 7pm Est. tomorrow. Any night, day actions, or votes submitted late will not count. Please keep this in mind when voting and submitting night actions.
