Well, someone screwed up on the HotTime event, players waited for 5 hours.
Players are now complaining, raging.

I took a look at the forums. More rage filled threads than GMS had.

They have enough reason to. There is no reason to play until their SP is reset.

Some classes can get off without a SP reset. But, yeah, in general since most classes can't it is pretty messed up.

not just that. their recent autopatch actually deleted my boot files. that some jackshit problem they have right there.
Some reported lost of backup files and some other files outside maplestory folders.

also, elemental bonus from e-weapons were removed without notice.

... Now that's new. Even NexonAM can't mess up that badly with GMS.

This. My valk has no Critical, and has maxed Triple Fire with Lv12 Octo at Lv82. Basically, I'd have tonnes of trouble training since this is a 1v1 build...

I'm sorry for that, yea most Valkyrie are screwed up, Captains over 14x got not much problem tho. Those higher level who got screwed are mostly mages, duh..
Another notable thing is...AS decided to host another Hot time Event today at the exact timing...can't they just learn from their mistake? Well, we got a 2 hour `1.5x exp event to compensate, though, but i doubt it'll be smooth game play.

Technical error I suppose, but it's way too off.
One of my friend lost 800 GB of movies/songs/photos/games.
His whole drive D got wiped, fortunately his Drive C was left untouched or he might just got his MBR deleted like others.

Edit: The hilarious thing is, while everything got deleted, includes all maplestory data files, the Maplestory.exe file remain, which is the only file in his whole drive right now.
Oh and a Newpatcher.exe

These people who are having these problems, I assume they can't get any form of compensation?

unless some one actually took some legal action towards asiasoft. seeing most of the players are whining kids, i dont think this will be realized.
