Greetings Maplers!
In order to gear up for our Chaos update this summer, we will be temporarily restricting the creation of new Dual Blades, Arans, and Evans characters from May 26th to June 29th, 2011. During this time, we will announce major changes to these classes that will go into effect during Chaos. Please note this restriction will NOT affect any Dual Blades, Arans, or Evans that were created before May 26th, 2011.
After June 29th, Dual Blades, Arans, and Evans will be back and better than ever!

Even though KMS did this it is still kind of a surprise. What exactly is the point in doing this?

Isn't it possible that Chaos is the 15th, but the character creation block remains til the 29th?

Nope. Those classes were only create-able for a limited time in KMS when they were first released. When Chaos hit KMS, they opened up character creation to those classes again, but for a limited time.
My guess is that GMS will close down those classes until the 29th, get the 1st part of the Chaos patch in, and then reopen those classes.

He meant did they make a creation block (which they did) only to release the patch before the block was released. Which they didn't. Meaning the patch is on the 29th, which SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS.

Ok, somewhat my bad. I was wrong about Arans and Evans being time limited in the first place, but my point with DBs sticks. And I still stand by my guess about GMS patching to Chaos before the block is released. It only makes sense imo.
