"I Miss Old Maple"

This phrase is used so often, and used more and more as more updates come to MapleStory..

What are your opinions on this phrase?

To be honest, I miss old Maple but not in the way where everyone says its too easy now..
I just miss the old "retro" MapleStory. Not even the times where Perion was the FM and there were no guilds..
I just miss the feel of MapleStory a year or two ago~
But now however, since we're updating already.. I want to keep updating more and more

What do you guys/girls think?

I miss the only UI. That is about it.

I liked when Maple was actually about forming groups to take bosses down, like a proper MMO. The last time that was a reality was when Zakum was endgame.

Now it's just, flaunt your gear and try to solo Pap and Zakum faster than everyone else.

i miss when the worst hack was just moving a monster from point A to point B.

I miss the community of old. The days when random expeditions to places that had less than a 100% success rate weren't considered a complete waste of time. These days I can't help but feel everyone is just out to use me for what I'm worth. Sure this may have been the case back then, but I never really saw it. Maybe I'm just paranoid.

I didn't mind so much how the definition of good equips would change so often with better equips coming out now and then, but potential ruined a lot for me. I was just never able to recover after the release of potential. It changed the game so much, all of my equips have completely lagged behind, and it made upgrading equips so much more confusing for me. Equips have become totally ridiculous and confusing.

I miss maple when perfect equips were not so common. Landing all 60% on a weapon is not considered good anymore

-when gaga wasnt here and we had alot of event npcs

I managed to hang on to all my screenshots somehow despite changing computers and computers crashing on me. I don't take as many screenshots nowadays as I did back then.

Haha, same here, most of them anyway. This was thanks to me being Photobucket-happy and making an entire folder dedicated to my screenshots. Then my external hard drive came in.

Nowadays, there isn't much that's worth screenshotting anymore.
