Which boss did you defeat at first?

Oh, I killed the eye of cthulhu to get a dryad, bought some powders from her, and went and broke some shadow orbs, two meteors spawned, so i made a meteor hamaxe. (It's a hammer, AND an axe!)
For every third orb you break, the devourer or worlds spawns, he drops shadow scales and demonite ores, so i killed him a few times and got the full shadow set which gives really good defense and a set bonus of +15% melee speed.
Shadow Set + Muramasa = OTP

devourer of worlds is a pain to kill initially, he's basically a bunch of those tiny flying soul eaters chained together, but each part of the chain has 200 hp. and if you kill one part of the chain, the boss breaks in half at the point where you killed one piece.

Unless someone decides to donate me the game. I'm unable to play. Damn erich making it more worth it than not. But then again, I think this is going to end up being another minecraft. Gets lots of mods, gets dominated by mods, no one plays anymore.

Bleh, I hate having to give up exploring when I'm out of torches (otherwise, I usually get pwnd by not being able to see what's attacking me). Found 5 chests and got a cloud jump, enchanted boomerang (I love this thing ^_^), an angel statue (???) and 2 more pairs of hermes boots (I have 3 now...).

Can't buy it till in 2 weeks. Arrgh I can't wait!

Really tempted to get this now, but the RPG element here might surpass Minecraft in raw time-wasting....

yeah it's not that bad. it's a little slow until you start finding large deposits of resources.

It's not even money - you just drop x% of coins when you die (and I believe you can collect them all if you get back to the area and survive it).
