I just had a thought (str)daggers are warr and thief equips so shad > anny warr would litteraly give you the option of being both classes.
And on that thought a shad>pally would give you 300% def, 60% less dmg taken, guardian and ss, M.E. and pickpocket works with all weps(it sucks with a claw though for some reason I've tested this on my cb) and SP might make charges work for both hits. I wish i could do this

I'm interested in seeing whether going double magician, which is retarded by the way, would give double Elemental Amplification.
Either way, it appears Magicians don't provide any significant bonuses other than Magic Guard, since attacking spells are weapon blocked, and Teleport Mastery isn't a large increase in damage compared to stuff like Shadow Partner, Berserk, and ACA (unless it works with those, but still small compared to bigger fish).

if resistance counts toward this too, then i would assume marksman + wild hunter would be one of the best combo since they inherit the passives too:
100% weapon mastery, + +60 weapon attk, + 30% min crit dmg, Enemy Defence Ignored + 40%, Dodge Chance + 40%, jaguar dmg +20%, speed +110, knockback resistance +60%, 120 acc, max hp +50% , crit rate +80%, avoidability +150, range +120

Preface: Sure, AMs don't have a lolHacks damage boost like ACA, but I'm an AM. An averagely funded AM that doesn't own any other (major) characters and have been playing an I/L for some time and enjoying doing so. I have no other equips and don't really feel like finding another class so if I were to reincarnate, I wouldn't be jumping to W.ATT.

Depending on how buffs or attacks interact when you do cross the W.ATT divide, Arcane Aim, Infinity, Extreme Magic and less likely Element Amplification are the only things really needing mention. I suppose High Wisdom too if you want to HP wash, but if you're coming from a magician you'd definitely have MP.

Much like Teppi suggested, if I were to reincarnate and Explorer -> Resistance was possible, I might fold my I/L into a Battle Mage. Under the most ideal situations, where stacking occurs: +100M.ATT, 100%+ Mastery, +20% Minimum Critical Damage, 45% Critical (70% for CL), 20% Ignore M.DEF and however all the damage multipliers work; multiplicatively 348%, additive 145% damage.

Those numbers are great and you could add other bonuses like MG with a decent amount of HP, whatever effects Body Boost gives, Infinity, Stance, whatever speed the two Boosters might combine to give, etc. Of course, of course this all hinges on the stackability of masteries and boosters and all that jazz.

On the other hand and quote, I don't feel like identical skills like Amp would stack on one another so going F/P would be less beneficial with only an extra 10% from Extreme Magic. But...but...but...I've found the true use of Glacial Chain's dragging ability! Drag your foes, while inflicting DoT into your Mist and KAPOW! That's like killing three birds with one stone while still doing some bombastic damage! If Explorer -> Resistance isn't possible and aside from not wielding an E. Weapon (hello 130/140 set) I/L to F/P could be a lot worse.

This reincarnation system seems to be an easy way to give Bishops power since I know many don't quite feel they are up to par.

actually, i'd recommend not doing stance 10, and instead maxing both beholder thinguies, low level stance is annoying to say the last, and that way you don't lose on counter and 35 w.attk.
