Yea, but when's the last time you hunted a monster and that dropped on a regular basis? The yellow duck tube was most likely an event item, meaning not a lot of people will have that as an option.

Anyways, how cool would it be if an F/P Arch Mage reincarnated into Aran?

Why would you want F/P on an aran? :f6: I don't think poison damage counts towards combos...

Unless you're talking about mist explosion, but I don't think JMS has Jump yet.

I didnt want the poison, just the fact that Fire Demon could make monsters Ice weak

Does Fire Demon still do that? I thought they changed that?

You are correct, post-Jump it doesn't do that anymore.

Oh yea. Well what would be a good skill for Arans?

Shadow partner? Still, only if it works with a polearm.

Or SE, but they nerfed the hell out of it in Big Bang, so it's probably not worth the trouble anymore.

Berserk or Combo. Depends on whether you like the other Dark Knight and Hero skills on which one you go with.

Hmm, Coma, Panic, or Beserk. Tough call.

Shadowers can always take Thorns from DBs

Thorns become less useful after Jump I believe. Also, Berserk, Beholder, Hyper Body, Dark NewSkillThingy.

Drain + Big Bang berserk would work pretty well.

Hyper body would definitely help for Arans. Playing an Aran after playing a warrior class felt like replacing a plastic toy aeroplane with a cardboard one. Or maybe it's just me.

I dunno if it's worth using a common low level weapon just to have access to the Pally elements, unless you're cool with severely crippling your own damage output by a massively large margin.

Quite a conundrum, HB can solve Aran's HP problems, but Berserk can make us powerful. What can beholder gives?

@Link: Go umbrelladin, silly. You'll have magic attack and weapon attack and you won't have to worry about constantly switching weapons.

Unless you want something other than Bishop-Paladin, in which case I wouldn't be too sure.

Combo/Adv. Combo are insane boosts in damage (200% total damage with Adv. Combo), and work with any weapon type the player can equip. I'd probably go with those.

And cause I forgot which mule this was on, SS...

 Spoiler

The level 120 Lunchbox, of course, is better. It has 109 atk and it's faster.

Umbrelladin still leaves you with weak 85 ATK and 85 MATK as your "endgame" weapon. I just don't know if it's totally worth it compared to a reverse weapon / elemental weapon IMHO.

MetaSeraphim Wrote:Anyway, Bishop > Paladin would be the better choice. I wonder what would happen if you charged ice and used gen, hmm. . .

You just made a weaker bliz grats

:\

What about going full sword build and abandoning genesis altogether? You'll still have the ability to hit like a truck while tanking like an iron cockroach.

I can't believe anyone isn't even attacking on combining another skills with Mechanics
