I'm actually pretty happy to hear this. From the looks of it, if you had cash shop hair, face, ect, can it be assumed that it resets those as well?

The true test is if you keep any AP you add into HP/MP. If so, I would willing pay 10 - 20 dollars for 99,999 HP or MP.

Just to let you know guys

you can only rebirth ONCE. JUST ONCE.

Just an FYI, unless they'll change it for the rebirth system, you need to wield a Sword / Mace to use the elements, so anything that involves "Paladin -> ???" won't work as switching weapons cancels the charges altogether.

That's still one time too many.

Balancing issues will be a huge headache for them later on. Looks like they're gonna snag profits now and fix everything else later.

Balancing issues? What's that? Potential system already broke what was left of "balance" in this game and having boss damage % stack only made DBs unstoppable in everything.

This system is hardly broken at all. Like Dark Link said the potential system is by far more broken. This new system at least allows you to pay 10 dollars one time and have a pretty powerful character without spending 1000's of dollars on making all your equips godly.

I don't think you get how Maplestory works.

1) Nexon releases a bunch of ITEMS that unbalances the game. They don't care how the items do it. They just do it. They also make sure you need NX Cash to get the most out of the items.
2) Then they release new AREAS which can take advantage of the wealth of new powers that these items can bring.
3) Then they release or revamp CLASSES so they can take advantage of the new places to train - often nerfing the training areas while doing it as they deem it too good. All of the classes, areas, and items are then balanced here.
4) If everything is too broken, release Big Bang #2. Else, go to #1.

It still breaks many many many classes that shouldn't be broken. A BM with SP. I shudder to think..

I wonder if adventurers can retain their KoC skills from the dew quest. That would allow 2 adventurer jobs and 2 KoC skills on the same Adventurer. Pretty nice!

If this is what they're doing, they're not going to have the Cyg -> Adventurer quest chain for Cyggies.
