Tanked for a game and the damage dealers on the other team all rushed penetration items. such a waste of time.

This is when you obtain a Giant's Belt.
Co-op vs. AI is the thing to do on weekends. So much less stress. So much silly straight-AP Singed.
"STOP KSING!"
"My poison is on, I can't help it! :<"

Edit: Normals suck. ._.
Also, I suck.
Also, losing at champion select sucks.
Lastly, I really sucked.
Should have done more Co-op.

It's more that the breasts actually work on this splash, the NA one's look kind of... weird.

Co-op vs. AI

Carry on with your raging tangent.

nonononono don't misunderstand me.

If you Co-Op vs Ai for fun i have no bone to pick with you.

If you play it to be a better "Player" (Beyond the Basics) then im afraid we have to talk (Or me raging alone at least).

I was playing it because playing normals on weekends is stressful and awful 4 times out of 5. I assume you missed my post about enjoying silly sh'it in Co-op like Atma's+Warmogs on Gragas?

Sry for that then. Many people had told me to "Play your fuckings Coop before you try normal" as killing Predictable bots would make me a better player in a real game >.>

Even then, it can only do so much when you're trying to learn and/or play better on a new champion.
I'm thinking about getting vlad, as most of you know I am a big fan of AP casters and he has been fun in past free week rotations.

The only thing is, is that he hasn't been free for a while now and I'm afraid if I get him it will be right before a free week lol.
Vlad hasn't been free for like, 30 weeks now. I bought him, I thought it was a good investment.
Just downloaded LoL last night. I find it very hard. Frown Tips anyone?
Thorns Wrote:between those 13 champions you pick up skills and learn things that can be applied to just about every other champion in the game

ashe - the importance of farming gold in the laning phase, as well as map awareness and positioning because she is powerful, but has no innate escape mechanism
nunu - the impact that counter jungling can have on the enemy team as well as the risk vs reward of a skill such as absolute zero
janna - the positives and negatives of having essentially a babysitter for your carry as well as learning how powerful relocation spells such as tempest can be
shen - team awareness, basic tanking skills such as keeping people off your carry
ryze - the basics of casting (as well as teaching you to hit your keys fast xD)
amumu - initiation and how to do it right, jungle tanking, and the importance of landing skillshots
teemo - the importance of map control and split pushing
taric - the sheer power of a targetable stun as well as the benefits of auras
alistar - the basics of roaming, ganking as well as meatshielding which some tanks are often forced to do
annie - teaches you last hitting and how to play disable casters (swain, leblanc etc)
tristana - like ashe, but with escape mechanisms
cho'gath - the psychological effect that a gigantic alien taking up half the screen that noms your carry's health in half has on your enemies xD xD

Don't run at towers without minions or anything since they do a lot of damage to you. Don't always attack, only hit a minion to land the killing blow. Play the tutorials, they help.
ok who's this?

on a serious note, what should I get first, a new rune page or Caitlyn?
I DO have ranged carries (Tristana and Ashe), but I do way better with Cait, but then again, I need a tank runepage, also, new runepage means more IP neede for the runes to put on it.

It has a very steep learning curve if you're new to MOBAs unfortunately.

However, matchmaking will attempt to match you with opponents of appropriate skill level. Or failing, that, at least match teams with a 50/50 chance of winning or losing. But it will not know the extent of your skills unless you keep playing normal games.

Most of what Ray said is fair, but I feel like it involves the burden of knowledge, which you don't have. Instead, I'll refer you to the official website's learning center, specifically the new user's guide and the gameplay page, which covers a large number of basics and core mechanics. Do the tutorials, keep playing and applying new knowledge.

Also, whenever you're ready, feel free to tell us your IGN =P

Don't bother getting Cait. She's free like every other week now Rolleyes.

It's pretty difficult to learn if you've never played anything like it before. It took me about 2 months to get to the point where I didn't feel like I could improve much more than where I was.
Kaj, I didn't say any of that, someone I know told me that and I thought they were wise words for any newcomer.

BS this patch improved Shen's carrying ability, I can never be THE guy that wins us the game. I can only be the guy that helped the other guy win the game that no one remembers.
