Soul Driver before and after Chaos.
#1
You guys know how soul driver is considered the best KoC skill and the only really useful one for most people, and for this reason it is that mostly warriors are the ones trying to get the Adventurer's soul driver.

but if I am not wrong, all adventurer KoC skills are buffed while soul driver gets nerfed, so my question is: will soul driver stay as the best skill? Will it still be worth going through that freaking soul lights quest to get it after chaos?

My opinion, it still is, but will get replaced easily with the new skills.

Vampire, Is now a viable healing skill with its upgraded mob count.

Sharkwave, is still good, considering it's long range.

Flame Gear with the new DoT formula, it's an effective way to train.

And Piercing, high damage, but slow animation.

I only want Soul Driver for the flashy new attack. So if you were to ask me, then it's only worth getting level 1 Driver.

Except Vampire still sucks. If you're a NL, you heal more from drain. If you're a Shadower, Chakra does a better job of healing. So pretty much, the only class that'll get much out of Vampire is the DB, but that said, Vampire is hardly reliable healing at all as it only recovers 5% of the damage per hit at max level.

Then what does it mean when I barely use HP pots when training. Vampire on a shadower is a godsend. Also. Yes, Chakra sucks.

It means the place you train at doesn't require you to use that many HP pots because the damage dealt by mobs suck.

Master Death Teddies. Do 1.4k to me, 700 with meso guard I have 3.8k HP.
Vampire saves my butt, each cast equals to a full heal to me. So, there you go ^_^

So basically, less than 18% of your maximum health with Meso Guard. Wait until you fight in areas that damage more than 50% of your MaxHP at a time and then tell me how much you're willing to rely on Vampire.

When you say new skills, do you refer to the new panic and coma post jump? I was talking about Soul Driver for adventurers, not for UA's. My main concern is if its worth going through that hellish Soul Light quest when the skill is getting nerfed.

Soul Driver for UA and Adventurers are basically the same thing. Just that it takes that much effort on an existing Adventurer.

That aside, do you think you'll be using it often more than your other skills? If not, I don't see the point go getting it level one and leaving it there, if you're gonna get it, might as well get it to its full potential.

But then I guess it's worth it, it has a great range, and maybe will serve as a last hit, dunoo. Just a personal opinion, don't really care about the uses.
