What is this! O.o I won a game (3vs3 but meh all my test have been on 3vs3 too and most loss too >.>) and i didn't die even ONCE! wtp! i call shenanigans on myself.

Btw i wish there were a Smartcast toggle in options since i always forget to smartcast vayne's E

On a related note, I think Vayne may be a bit OP if played correctly. @Dark Link, I did 1163 physical damage on a non ult Tumble crit with IE against a bot. That's not including Silver Bolts.

Her damage is nuts, even if she's "supposed" to be the Anti-Tanky DPS champion. Ah well, I guess we'll see what happens down the road.
Also a well played Vayne will make sure not a single Melee gets near her, even if they have a gap closer. Condemn and Tumble offer too much spacing.

As if Annie or LeBlanc nuking you with her full spell cycle at level 6 with a Sorcerer's Shoes doesn't compare or something.

If a caster comes at you without enough mana to blow your ass it deserve to be killed.

CD? doesn't matter one cycle is enough to kill vayne.

On a side note, I've found Lux counters Vayne in lane.

When she rolls toward a position to shoot you, throw a light binding at that spot. If nothing is in the way, it should hit her. Throw E, throw shield, attack, burst E, attack again.

Queued up with Kaj and Bob. At first, I took solo top and was against a Dr. Mundo and a Nasus, but had to call Kaj so I can heal + get some items once I was Level 7. When I came back, I decided to try instagibbing Mundo and Nasus at top. Long story short, I ended up doing 3 rounds of double kills on them - huge thanks to Kaj's trolling skills - before they even had the nerve to put up a Vision Ward to counter me. By then I was very fed.

And of course, Vlad pushed mid quite nicely, and got fed a bit later on. Though he did mention about how good the Ashe was (she was laning against him mid)

So? With those two, all it takes is one instance, and you're dead. Only way that happens with Vayne is if you're behind in levels and she's horribly fed. Granted, she has more opportunities to do it, but she's also got a shorter range and much less utility than the other two.

The problem you're probably encountering with Vayne is that her skillset rewards her aggression. She gets bonus MS for chasing (4x with ult active), and her Tumble effective CD is 3-4 times as long if she fails to hit anything with the proc (aka running away).

A running vayne is a dead vayne... Unless you see the gank from miles away (See wards) and started running before hand.

I also got that Cloak and Dagger item, but it didnt really seem worth it. The only new tenacity item ive liked is the Pendant thingy, and thats only when ive been playing Sona, since i can upgrade 1 of my Philo stones to it. On the subject of Sona, i may start learning Zilean, because all my Sona games i just feel my only use is a heal bot, and i die very easily.. Its such a shame too because i really love Sona.

God. Had one retarded match tonight where the tank was simply being a total pu'ssy, or initiated at the WRONG EFFING TIME. SERIOUSLY.

I was a Twitch. I could demolish a squishy in 2-3 hits late, late game. Too bad our tank was a total retard. FML. Just FML.

Ahh yes the counter to vayne conversation.

Morello pointed out a couple of hard counters to her % true damage. One is shields: Janna/Lux/Lee etc anyone that has a damage absorbing shield gives Effective HP against % true damage.
The other is heals, if you are duoing and think they will run vayne then pick a healer, or better yet pick janna!

gotta love ap trist. 1.4k ultis XD. what a pity, they didnt even want to hit me in teamfights.

Heal bot? you're doing it wrong, sona is a great support but is nothing near a heal bot, you can poke quite hard with q, stun timing with ult is VERY important on a team fight, and healing is just a nice plus on her, the speed to chase and escape is very useful too, also learn to use power cord, using an 'E' power cord to slow a chaser can save lifes, and poking with q chord is extremely useful early game.

I enjoy doing silly Gragas builds in Coop. Warmog+Atma's, stacking hextech revolvers, etc. Such a flexible champion, and yet I rarely have a good chance to play him in normals. (And when I do, it often goes poorly)

What i said in the earlier post only really goes for games where we are doing bad. Ive had games we were losing where ive managed to get deathcap and such, but cant do anything to help win. I always get picked off really easily, but then maybe im building her wrong (2 philo stones, cd boots, RoA -game ends-)

I have had successful games, where my ult has helped get aces, and ive actually contributed very well, its just since brand was implimented i seem to get vaporised on Sona and then feel like i bring nothing to help my team push.. (1 game i had a 2v1 against a brand and he would manage to pillar stun ult me constantly for kills.. probably my fault but yeah..)

I build sona:

Doran's Ring (or meki pendant, I like the extra 100 hp for staying power, and the 15 AP help poke)->Tear of goddess (no more mana problems for the rest of the game)-> Shoes (merc's most of the time, sorcerer's if the enemy team has low CC)->Rylai's scepter->if needed, defense item->Death cap and archangel.

works great most of the time unless my team is really incompetent.
as for skills it depends on the game most of the time. Good games I go r>q>e>w, but first skills are always qwqe, bad games I'll go r>q>w>e.

Weekend feeders want me to smh and ragequit.

I just finished a 3vs3 with noc with a ending score of 6/6/6 lul.

I vs a vayne in that game that, ouch kill me once or twice but that was because i was a little underleveled. Endgame we manage to win a few Dragon fights and pushed both towers, and while all the people were busing in bot tower i took the chance to level up and snatch a few drags, i even pushed top to half health before vayne tried to kill me XD..

Mang why i have to be so rolfpawning with noc but sucks so much with vayne? guess ranged (or vayne) dps isn't my thing.

Just finished a 5 man premade with sona, we don't really know eachother, a buddy just invited pretty much all his online friends and we ended up being pretty good, our team was Vayne, Shen, jungle Nunu, Akali and me. I was a support god, I finished 1/1/16, we aced them twice, and on both times it was because I pretty much stunned their whole team inside nunu's ult, also nunu's wards plus my CV gave us great map awareness, so we kicked ass. (Even if we had more towers down by the time they surrendered, we had such a great team comp that we aced them, then I could just go around healing....
