It's just funny how this thread reminded me of a local, but friendly Smash tourney I wanna go to that's in my town. Supposed to be coming up, people were about to do Brawl, but the Melee community here is a lot bigger, so the guy's planning on doing Melee instead. Supposed to be pomegranate-ton of TVs and GCs.

I miss playing Melee tournaments. ;~; When I was in High School, we had this video game club called the "Electronics Enetertainment Club" were tons of people brought their own consoles and games to school and we had mass tournaments every day. I used to win a lot of Melee tournaments with Link. That was too many years ago, though. ._. I've long since forgotten how to play this game. Now, I get my ass handed to me by level 9s easily, even one-on-one.

IMO, level 9's in Melee can kill you pretty quick if you're a casual player. I don't think their teching is great though, there was actually a proficient level for the AI to be at for them to be at their best, I do NOT remember it to be 9. Some players said otherwise.

I don't see how you're fighting so well, Miek. Every button I press, Link doesn't make the action until 2 - 3 seconds after I press it. It makes recoveries almost impossible. :X
