That's all that needs to be said. No big deal, just America debut.

You just ninja'd my thread. Good thing I F5'd first.

But uh

My feelings toward the "live" concerts in general are... mixed. I do like them, but part of me can't get over how strange the whole thing is... I think I'd rather get the CDs of the concerts (and probably will at some point) than the DVDs/BDs. :x

If you ever saw the Gorillaz x Madonna concert at one of the award shows here in America, it's going to be the same thing the Gorillaz did.
I think it'll be amazing. I don't see how anyone is going to have another chance to see Miku Hatsune in her American debut... GAH I got my ticket within seconds of the announcement.

Who's Miku?

I have a feeling that the masses will flame at this like they usually do when there's Miku related news. People just don't get that Miku's just a voice for the lyricist and composers out there, and are more afraid that computers are replacing real singers.

I can't actually tell if you're just speaking for him or if you're actually serious (though I highly doubt you are).

@Mark
Well, there's still a human singing behind the autotune...

This made me laugh pretty hard. Though in all honesty, I expect Erebus to know of all people, since he's around a lot, and a lot of us on SP are in the "otaku" crowd. (as much as I hate using that word) Chances are he's just trolling / joking

Who is it

As if googling is so difficult.

Meh. I think the America hype thing might ruin Miku for me, I really don't want to hear an English ver of Miku, but whatever. We'll see how this plays out. I just hope they won't f`uck up a good thing, though the popularity for Miku helps her to get her stuff over to America more.

Why, yes it is.

I can live without the information so I wouldn't waste a minute of my time looking it up. That's basically the way it is any time I ask about anything like this. I wouldn't be hurt if no one had responded, but if it's someone/thing you care about then you may feel obliged to spread the word.

Here's hoping they keep the lyrics japanese. Doubt it though.

Came home from work, saw FB announcement, bought tickets right away.

Don't really care if it's english or japanese, it's more for the experience. I do hope they keep it japanese though as it'll appeal to the people who bought tickets a lot more.

Maybe someone should ask on the AX fb

I'm good friends with Kim on the boards (He is the manager of all the main events at AX). I'll drop him the question.

So wait, this thing is like Microsoft Sam singing? They pump some lyrics into a program and it outputs them in autotune?
